RISATA Bali Resort & Spa-II: Taking the Lead Going Green

by goutammitra

We were so impressed by the Balinese people that we would like to come back again and perhaps if pocket permits we shall stay at Risata only.

Every morning the lady from a temple would come and perform Puja at the hotel. The hotel has several worship places. Please look at the lady with flowers in hand performing Puja at the temple near pool and even at reception.

RISATA Bali Resort & Spa: Taking the Lead Going Green

by goutammitra

This is a four star property with all the facilities a four star should have. It is just like a traditional Bali village, where time of the day is of no importance as they claim. How true it is. All the staffs know how to please the guests and make them come again and again. In fact, we made several friends there.

In our four nights stay there we really felt at home with their service, cleanliness and above all friendliness. Even the security staffs were very very friendly.

The Pandan Bali restaurant is just superb with full international cuisine , authentic Asian dishes. The swimming pool was ever enchanting!

The South Kuta Beach is very near from this place!

Villa Impi-Yannya (changing to Villa Rindik): B&B / Specialty Accommodation - in Candidasa Bali

by sinter

We stayed at this Villa for 7 days in January 2012
Just loved the place - loved it !
It is just at the start of Candidasa - on the south end of the village / town.
The house / Villa is a 5 bedroom place, yet the owners only rent out the
bottom part of the house, which has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
Althought it is set up like a B&B, it is maybe more like a homestay,
but a very nice one ... the part you rent is all for you - no sharing.

The owners live upstairs at different times of the year, yet it is up to you
if you want to interact with them.

They have staff that look after your every need - you get breakfast included,
which is fruit, juice, coffe, tea and eggs anyway you like.

All the bedrooms have airconditioning, and there is a large open plan living area.
There is a kitchen also that looks out into the living / dining / reading areas,
and you can see the pool and ocean from all these areas.

The pool is very nice, 1.6 meters at one end, and 2 meters at the other.
It also has a step around the bottom - makes it easy to rest on at the edge.

At the very back of the property, there is an evevated section, that has tables
and chairs, and sun beds, and you can have your breakfast there.
Sitting under the gazebo you can see right across the ocean - it is full ocean views.

We love it so much, we may want to buy it !

Great location also, very close (short walking distance) to small eateries, bars,
through to more high end restaurants.

Shops are also close - again it is all walking distance, as is ATM's as well.

There is also a money changer across the road in the silver shop.

Vistas are great, you can see the large hills on one side of the road, and the
ocean on the other side.

Nice quiet place to stay.

Oh, and Candidasa is not known as a sand beach area, more like a pebble
beach, yet you can drive (or get a boat) around the point (heading north)
to a place called White Sand Beach ... which is a nice beach with food / drink stalls,
plus you can hire chairs / umbrellas etc.

XL Vision Villas: Peace and Relaxation in the heart of Bali

by cloud9kat

Bliss. The one word description for my stay in Bali. The accomodations were beautiful, the people were amazing, tranquility abound. It was easy to get a car to go into town, a 15 minute walk to the black sand beach, a shot drive to Ubud.

Meditation encouraged in one of the element pavillions :)

Villa Agung Beach Inn: Black Sand and Beach Front

by screamin

On the black sands of north Bali stands the Villa Agung Beach Inn . A great little beach front hotel situated between Singaraja and Lovina at Tukadmungga. The hotel has a very small pool in a court yard. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a choice of air conditioned and fan cooled. We had a family room with a queen bed and a set of bunks. There is a small fridge stocked with a few goodies and tea and coffee making facilities. There is no phone or tv, and the bathroom is outside with no roof.
Gus and Sandy are the owners , I only met Gus what a great guy. He take the extra time to welcome you to the hotel personally.
There is internet but you need to connect your pc via a internet cable.
Breakfast is included from a fixed menu and cooked fresh and tastes great. We had dinner in the restaurant as well which was great with a great selection of local food and a great view of the ocean. It was great to sit on the edge of the black sand and enjoy a Bintang or two while watching the sunset.

The Adika Sari Bungalows: In the heart of Legian

by screamin

The hotel is on Jalan Padma Utara Legian. It's a small hotel with very friendly staff. Room 76 a suite room was large, clean and comfortable . There is a small fridge which you can stock with your own drinks. Air conditioned and a small TV with plenty of cupboard space. There is a table and chairs to relax on and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom is spacious , but came with a funky smell, but with a spray of air freshener it was all good.
There is a table and chairs in front of the room where you can relax with a drink and not far away is the pool.
Breakfast is included in the price, but it is a set menu and cooked fresh.

Cheap accommodation in the heart of Legian. With free wifi in the restaurant and hotel.

The Sari Beach Inn: Beach front Charm

by screamin

The lane to the Sari Beach Inn Legian from Jalan Padma Utara is a walk and a half at a few hundred meters, and very dark at night.
Reception is at the end of the long lane way with hotel rooms along each side of the property. The restaurant and pool are towards the rear of the hotel. The pool is small and there is a few pool lounge chairs.Staff are very friendly and helpful.
We stayed in deluxe room 117. The room is clean and tidy, it is air conditioned with a mini bar with no stock so you can stock it full of your own drinks. There is a TV and a DVD player a queen bed. An extra single bed was added to the room for us. There is a cupboard with a room safe in it. The bathroom is clean and tidy, but the hand basin taps are on the yucky side. There is no phone in the room. Free wifi is offered at either reception or in the restaurant. breakfast is includes and quite nice.
The Sari Beach Inn a great hotel if you want a quiet beach front hotel and the price isn't to bad either.

Photos of the hotel - http://travel.webshots.com/album/581971295OODHvA

The hotel itself is beautiful with a rustic old world Balinese charm and its meticulously manicured gardens. It backs onto Legian Beach over a rustic wall you can hear the waves crashing onto the beach and smell the salty air.

Westin Nusa Dua: Bali Westin Nusa Dua

by Boris2010

This 5 star hotel is not worth the price! We had stayed in august for 6 nights. The price a night is €230,-, but the room is small. You cannot cancel anymore, while it is standard to cancel your reservation within 24 hours. It is not a professional hotel, less quality for the price they ask. Don't stay at this hotel.
