your hotel's swimming pool is crap or no swimming pool at all? don't worry, you can go to desamuda village all the time.
you only need to buy a voucher for Rp 20,000 (about 10 times cheaper than waterbom!) you'll get towel and you can change your voucher into food with the same price in the restaurant.
the pool is open 24 hours, it's not very big but overflow style. there's also jacuzzi by the pool and pool bed you can use for free!!
This is a must-do for me whenever I'm in Bali. When in Bali, go for the Balinese treatment which consist of
- boreh (scrub with either tumeric powder or coffee)
- mandi lulur (yoghurt)
- mandi bunga (floral bath)
- the balinese massage
- cream bath (head and hair treatment with cream, massage and steam)
The ultimate spa experience is at
- Ritz Carlton hotel (pricey but worth it. Expect to pay US$200 and above for a 2-hour treatment)

travelling to bali in april and wondering if anyone has stayed at Puri Saron, or Desamuda Village, both in seminyak area. thanks.
I know Bali quite well, have been staying there quite regularly for 30 years, I don't stay in that area but would not consider Puri Saron for that price, looks quite ordinary for Bali at that price, however i think Desamuda village looks very good.
