Strategic, near Kuta Beach

by written on March 2, 2006

Did not stay here but had a "tour" round the hotel. Huge and good setting at the coffee house. Impressive swimming pool.

Unique Quality: easily accessible as it is at the main road of Kuta and the beach is directly opposite it.

Directions: along main road, Kuta Beach is just in front

kid's club at hard rock hotel

Bad (2.0 of 5.0 stars)

i know hard rock hotel is so famous, but one thing i don't understand why none of their rooms has view to the beach even their location is beachfront.

if you have kids, no worry, because hard rock has kids club that help your kids from getting bored.

Unique Quality: - kids club with toys and beds in colorful room
- excellent swimming pool with sand (so it's like swimming on the beach)

Directions: in front of the famous kuta beach on the corner of the street

Rockin' Good Time

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on November 26, 2005

Facilities very good as was the standard of acomodation-we stayed in a deluxe room which was very nice.
Their 2 daybeds in room, was so useful during the daytime when you dun wanna mess up yer bed but want so relax somewhere and at the sametime serve as bed for the kids at night.
Breakfast was not bad as well, not so many choices but yet, it's already sufficient enough for your whole morning... staffs there were friendly and attentive.
Facilities in the hotel were fantastic as well, especially the pool, it's definitely somewhere you can spend your whole day!

Unique Quality: There are lots of Hard Rock stores in the hotel, about 3 i guess.. all well stocked and price was very good as well.. night time, you can also have a drink at the Centerstage where they have liveband shows, dun forget to use your Complimentary Welcome-Drink vouchers as well as the 25% discount voucher they give you for better offer on your favourite drinks.

Directions: Just 10 minutes from the airport.

Hard Rock Hotel

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)

Checking in and checking out of this hotel where the biggest probelems with our hotel stay here. With a small child needing a nap, a delay in check-in (four hours) can be painful to say the least. They also lost our hotel transfer voucher, making the last hour, again stressful. Without a three year old this would not have been a problem, but it was and it tainted our stay a little bit.
The staff were all very friendly, however the hotel is just too big, with just too many people to offer the personal service that we had become used to in Bali.
Our room was nice, although a bit 'tired'. Comfortable king sized bed and day bed, mini bar, TV with heaps of 'Hard Rock' entertainment. The bathroom, again nice, but the tiles had faded and there were a few minor problems with hot water etc. Staff where very prompt in this deptartment.
Apparently they give priority to cleaning rooms to families with children, so our room was cleaned by 11am (great for nap time), while our childless friends down the hall sometimes had to wait until 4pm.
The acoustics of the place, again made it a bit difficult with a small child. The echoes from the hall, the band in 'Hard Rock Central' made for late nights and early mornings.
I'd probably recommend this to people without kids or with older kids (our son was three at the time). There is lots on offer within the Hard Rock Complex and the location in Kuta is great.

Unique Quality: You can't go past the pool. It is unbelievable, so huge that it just never seems crowded.
To make up for our hell check-in we were given a free cabana, which was just great. The cabana had two lounges. A phone to contant the cafe downstairs and they'd bring food and drinks to the cabana. The was also a light, ceiling fan, curtains for privacy when changing or little-ons to have a nap. Excellent.
The pool also had two small waterslides, that kept our son amused for hours and and hours. There's the pool bar, beach volleyball and surf lessons on the sand island surrounding the pool.
The small hard rock deli make the most amazing rolls and baguettes for a reasonable price.
The kids club was beautiful, newer and cleaner than our local creche and for approx $US 3 per hour you can't go wrong, shame we didn't get a chance to use it.
The location is great, across from the beach. 50 - 100 m from Kuta Square (Galleria, McDonalds etc) and 100 from Poppies Lane I, cheap shopping and great eats eg. TJ's mexican.

Paradise Hotel in Kuta

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on April 17, 2005

My overall stay was good. It has the biggest swimming pool in Kuta hotels, lots of activities like basketball and volleyball etc. Unique swimming pool. Lagoon style, half of the pool ground is covered with tiles, and the other half is covered with sand. Feels like a beach without salty water :)
Food is good, room service and hard rock cafe serves good food that is not expensive! A hotel with spa, gym and table tennis, pool facilities. Live band every night. Room is clean, with a spacious bed. Nice bathroom. Overall, good stay!

Unique Quality: Pool was unique - They have a sand island
Massage by the pool available
Right in front of Kuta beach
They have a learn how to surf school in the hotel itself (US$35 / person)

Directions: Right in front of Kuta beach

Pop trend hotel

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on October 3, 2003

I will recommend this , if youre into music stuff, trend, and that brand Hard Rock. For me, it is expensive and the bed is not that big. Other facilities is just cool. Many people from Jakarta likes to stay here. Guess it is about pride.

Unique Quality: Its because of the brand which is strongly related to music world, following the success of this cafe chain. BUt also this hotel have a real trendy atmosphere, and located strategically in Kuta. This hotel also have recording studio, 2 big pool, pool for kids, sand island.
