even though the lobby and reception looks a bit shabby , the opposite is true when you walk inside the hotel , a beautiful garden and swimming pool awaits you ....

Though the outside of the hotel doesnt really impress me ...the inside it looks totally different ...well guess you can never judge a book by its cover ....( but how many tourist would actually go it and have a look before booking a room there ? )

Conveniently located in the center of Kuta
and just a few minutes from
Kuta Art market and Kuta beach.

Ngurah Rai International Airport Nice pool , serene balinese garden, stone figurines ( batuan ) scattered all over the garden and very near to the bustling Kuta Market and Kuta Beach

The sswimming pool actualy exceed its 3 star rating and its very clean and being very well maintained ....also a baby pool for kids ...plus a bar in the pool !

I have stayed at the Kuta Beach Club on and off over ten years since it was only a 2 star hotel with one swimming pool. It has grown to 3 star with an additional swimming pool with a sunken pool-bar.
This hotel is located at Jl. Singosari and is in the best location in Kuta.
Just outside the hotel are numerous shops, restaurants, walking distance (less then 5 mins.)to Kuta Art Market, beach, Kuta Square and 10 minutes walk to Discovery Mall.
During my yearly trips to Bali I have stayed at different hotels and in April 4-5,2009 since I was on a overnight trip decided to check-in at Kuta Beach Club.
I was allocated a renovated standard room which was located on the second floor. It faced the swimming pool and came with a little verandah where you can read and have tea.
The room was spacious with a kingsize double bed. Room came equip with TV and mini fridge. The bathroom was clean, spacious, with tub and hot/cold shower.

Was truly amazed with the upgraded look of the room.

The staff at the hotel have been working there for a long time and they have good memory of their returning guest . The bar/restaurant serves a reasonable breakfast spread as well as a fairly comprehensive meal menu.

I will definitely stay there more often.

Very clean, big room. Full breakfast included in the $9 / night airline rate I got at the time. Unbelievable. Walking distance to shopping. Rent a Bimo (car & driver) for the day and your driver will act as your guide ~ a great way to meet the locals and get immersed in the culture. We were invited to attend a cremation in a nearby town. Ok, maybe sounds creepy...but, it was a great celebration.

This place is a wonderful bribrant feeling, this hotel has been our all time favourite place. Our first ever trip to Bali years and years ago we stayed here and did for about 4 years but it decided to go up in price something we didnt want to pay for just sleeping and getting ready in as we dont stay alot in our hotel we are mostly out, but please do keep in mind this is still a wonderful hotel to be in and we would love to go back one time to see if it still has the same feeling which im sure it does as we still go in for visits when we are in Bali to see the staff there and there still bright and bubbly as ever.
Service is always ontop 24/7, facilities are just enough to keep you happy, but most of the time you dont need to worry bout it because your too busy outside ur hotel shopping. HAHA.
I would for sure recommend this hotel to someone.
Kuta Beach Club is close to everything i mean everything the markets are right at the bottom of the street about a 1 min walk the department stores and designer stores are 2 mins away walking and the restaurants like McDonalds etc are in the same area, so everything is in close distance.
This hotel also has a tour desk ans please book by there tour company we have always been with them for tours and there staff are excellent on the tours they give you a great insider into where your going and what you will be doin. Kuta Beach Club is a big hotel with lots of lusious beautiful coloured gardens sorrounding the rooms and facilities. Its a two story building which all have thier own balconies.

As i know there are a lot of cheap hotel around Kuta. Usually hotels not in main road or big street quiet cheap.Perhaps you can try Rama hotel or Seminyak the price around Rp. 100.000-150.000,-/night.

I stayed on Poppies Lane II at Palm Gardens with a friend of mine. We paid US$6/night, about 48,000 Rp. Basic accommodations with hot water. 2 beds. No A/C. No TV or minibar.

well like the rest of the VT said cheap is really relative thing ya know ! Anyway I have heard some VT's can even get a room for Rp 25000. Well after all you want to get some comfort of staying too , dont ya ? It all boils down to what facilities you want .

I stayed in Kuta Beach Club , its a pleasant Hotel with nice pool and environment , very near shops and stalls and 5 minutes walk to Kuta Beach ( though the beach is too crowded and not really a place for beach lovers , except for sunset view ) see my Bali page for Kuta Beach Club and other tips ...!

Hey, I'm not sure how cheap you want to go for your hotel. I usually stayed in a little hotel just behind where the bungi jump is. I can't remember the name of the hotel, but it's hard to miss. It only costed something like 20,000 or 25,000rp but it's just a bed, mesquito net, and maybee a radio. I like to keep it simple traveling to bali

Masa in Kuta was very reasonable, they have airconditioned rooms as well as rooms with a fan, was very clean but basic. bed and breakfast when we were there in '99 was only about £5.00 for the two of us, they have their own website, unfortunately can't remember the web address. If you type in Masa inn bali am sure you will find it
