The first thing you notice when you walk into the resort is this statue in the lobby. The lobby itself is fantastic, featuring natural stone work and marble.
The resort offers a lot of activities if you would like a nice relaxing day just staying at the hotel. Tennis courts, swimming pool, jacuzzi, health club with sauna, internet room, bars and restaurants are just some of the facilities the resort has to offer.
If you're a beach person, it's right in the backyard. My aunt was swarmed by masseuses when she went looking for some at the beach. My aunt got a relaxing full body massage while her daughters were getting their hair braided.
Two vouchers for breakfast are included with the room, check out my restaurant tip for La Brasserie!
I would certainly recommend this resort. Beautiful setting, spacious room with balcony and friendly hosts are waiting for you!
Unique Quality: This beautiful resort sets in more than six hectares of tropical gardens. It boasts 404 newly renovated rooms. It has a huge swimming pool with cascading waterfall, reef sunken pool bar and entertainment stage. The beach is right in the backyard. It's a 5 minute drive from Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport. And it's a walking distance from Kuta Square shopping areas and restaurants.

There are many chairs, wardrobes, shutters and other furniture made by woods. The arrange and decorate are instinct with traditions style of Indonesiat. I like their bed, very soft and comfortable. They have a big swimming pool and garden area, it's also characteristic of the roof top lobby, I like it.

Ramada Bintang was an excellent hotel, about 1 mile south of the main town and close to the airport. Big rooms, a great pool and a quiet beach.
Transfer times from the airport are about ten minutes and the place is close enough to Kuta proper that you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the beach or the store and bar lined road into town without feeling too out of the way. Secluded and luxurious

Stayed at this Ramada Bintang Bali Resort, a beach-front resort in the garden, situated within lush tropical gardens on private stretch of beach in Tuban, South of Kuta. And only five minutes drive from Bali's Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Within walking distance to the biggest water recreational park called Waterbom, Kuta Center and Kuta Square shopping areas, Restaurants.
Too close to the airport
by Restless-in-kl about Ramada Bintang Bali
Was stuck in this hotel for a week when attending a company training. Its location is very close to the airport and within walking distance to Kuta. Unfortunately, there is not much of a beach and you can actually see the plane landing strip from the beach (that's how close it is!)
Would not recommend this hotel as it is quite noisy, has no beach/spa and food is so-so.
New hotel & spa
by stedeb about Bali Rani hotel & Spa
This new Rani Hotel which opened in Feb 07 is not to be confused with the older sister hotel of the same name. We never stayed here but took the opportunity to check out the rooms and facilities. The rooms are build around the pool which is a nice size with umbrellas & sun beds. There is no garden you step straight out of the room onto the pool area. The rooms are spacious and have all the usual needs. It is in a pretty good location closer to the Santika Beach & Ramada Bintang but given how busy this area has now become it does not seem far away from any shops restaurants etc. The internet rate is $US50 for a deluxe room(single or 2 pax) without breakfast. It seemed pretty busy while we were there last week 16/6-26/6 so these prices may not be negotiable walking off the street. Rooms come in 2 types Deluxe or Suite.

Bali is not ALL about cheap hotels! (Part 1)
by hayley_69 about I want LUXURY and EXPENSIVE accommodation.
Bali is not all about cheap budget accomodation or hotels, i just prefer cheaper budget accommodation or hotels as im never in my hotel room im majority of the time shopping, down the beach, sunbaking on the beach, taking tours or eating out for lunch and dinner and dont forget going out partying. Really the only time im in a hotel is when i have to sleep, shower, have breakfast and get changed thats why i dont go to expensive and luxury resorts as its not work it, unless your a person who likes to stay in the area of the hotel mostly or just likes to spend money on something good or if maybe you have kids and need a resort that caters for children then your more then likely better to stay in a more expensive resort as they have alot more facilities for children like kids clubs etc. So here are some very nice LUXURY and EXPENSIVE resorts or maybe you fancy a villa for you and your wife for a romantic honeymoon or holiday then these resorts and villas around Bali might be good for you if you prefer the LUXURY life. I've heard that the Contiki Resort in Bali was a cool place to stay because they had a lot of informative staff and set you up with lots of information on tours too. I want to go so bad, I just learned how to surf and I hear the surf there is awesome! Do you know what the best time of year to stay there is?
Re: Bali???

2 places not to miss are Ulawatu Temple and Tanah Lot Temple. You will need to hire a taxi/driver to take you there but there are plenty of them about. Just ask around, most of the guides/taxi drivers are genuine and honest.
