Ramayana Resort & Spa
The exterior of the hotel looks nice. Service was pretty decent. Checking in was hassle-free and we were given welcome drink while waiting for the procedures to be done.
There wasn't any lift in the hotel as far as I recall. Our room was tucked away in I think the furthest end of the hotel. The room was not as clean as I expected and the floor feels sticky all the time.
The bathroom was small and felt dirty to me. I am very particular about cleanliness of bathrooms.
Breakfast was average.
Location was pretty good....not a very long walk to the beach and you can "shop" while walking to the beach.
They had an in-house spa which I felt was not value for money as I can get better ones searching around.

walking distance to kuta square and the beach.
Unique Quality: besides it is on the best location kuta, the garden is so green. they even have orchid collection there.
there's also shortcut to the restaurants and shops nearby.

Cheap stay
A nice hotel in the center of the ……..center!!! You can’t get more downtown then this. The facilities are ok and the stuff is very friendly.
The room was clean and had everything that we needed! The Bed …..Oh yes the bed is probably the best that we had ever slept on! It had a double mattress and it was so good you didn’t wanna get up.
The pool is too small and the breakfast a little too…….Asian for our taste.
At the back of the hotel but still ….in it are a lot of shops and a great sport café-restaurant-bar (all in one). We had almost every night dinner there.

Kuta's Best Hotel
The service staff in the hotel were very nice and friendly. They see to our needs and get to them right away. Security staff were in duty 24/7 to ensure the safety of everyone. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to stay in Kuta area. There are 2 pools with great view in the hotel. You can feel that you are not in the city at all as you are surrounded by lush tropical plants around the hotel. The hotel is in a very convenient spot as it is near to the beach, to the bazaar, and to all other tourist sites. The hotel design is very 'Balinese', makes you feel that you are indeed staying in a tropical island paradise.
Cool oasis in Kuta city centre
The Ramayana is located strategically in the heart of Kuta city. The Ramayana is a short walk to the beach is via Kuta Art Market, while Kuta's largest shopping centre complex "Matahari" is across the road, Legian street (surfers hang-out) is 10 minutes walk, and Bali's international airport is only 15-20 minutes drive away. The hotel was recently renovated and it is very popular base from where one can enjoy Kuta's famous night-life.
The hotel staffs were warm and friendly, and everyone was helpful and eager to assist. We felt very welcomed there. My sisters and I had a fantastic time staying at this hotel. We will not hesitate to stay here again if we were to go to Bali again. The hotel has 2 large swimming pools, a water lily garden and ponds filled with japanese carps, a beautiful orchid garden, an in-house spa, and a large restaurant that serves delicious local Indonesian and European cuisines. All the hotel rooms and cottages were surrounded by a lush tropical garden. We had a family room with 1 king-size bed and 2 single beds. Our room was completed with modern facilities, fully air-conditioned, phones, TV with international channels and in house movies, hair-dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, free mineral water, and refrigerator.
