It's best not to check in your luggage, instead just hand carry them if you are coming to Bali. That way, after clearing immigration, you can just step out of the airport and catch the taxi to your hotel. Anything you like. Sunblock, mossie repellent, poh-chai pills for diarrhea, panadol extra for severe headaches from being too long in the sun. Extra memory card if you are a shutter bug. And don't forget the charger for the camera.
the location is private, with tables by the beach.
it's a bit expensive for indonesian standard but well, this is fine dining.
besides by the beach, the tables are in the garden, in bale (balinese style of building) and by the swimming pool.
you also can reserve the place for a small outdoor wedding. it's perfect!

To those who don't mind getting tanned...pigmentations...freckles...redness and etc...this is a good thing to do. They got many of those comfortable lazy chairs and umbrellas along the beach for rent. Views are great. As for hubby and me...we chose to just walk along the beach...sat by the beach just before sunset...it's much cooler.
The is the hell many other tropical islands fear becoming. I think their fear is somewhat unjustified. Kuta has become more than a tropical paridise, it is an affordable and relaxing beach and club town. Hawaii is too expensive, Vietnam underdeveloped, Miami is too busy, and, Malysia too sterile. Kuta is a mix (though maybe not what some people want). It is the crossroads of something.
