Le Meridien Nirwana Golf & Spa Resort Photo: Hotel from the air
Nice luxurious room with balcony overlooking the ocean (ocean view-room only), you can hear the waves at night. Great facilities. Too bad it doesn't have a beach but they have a small artificial beach for sunbathing. Nothing beats the view though.

The hotel has at least 3 pools, 2 outdoor jacuzzi and a WATERSLIDE! It's great fun! Here's a pic of me sliding down for the 60th time (I think) that day!
Can we golf in Bali???
by hayley_69
Yes you can golf in bali there is a few golfing resorts, hotels and country clubs around. Most of them are set in 5 star places or golf places. Bali has a few golf courses around but here are 5 main ones:
Bali Golf & Country Club Nusa Dua Telephone: 771 791
Bali Handara Country Club Pancasari, Bendugul Telephone: 288 944
Bali Hilton Nusa Dua Telephone: 771 102
Grand Bali Beach Hotel Sanur Telephone: 288 511
Le Meridien Nirwana Golf Club & Resort Tanah Lot, Tabanan Telephone: 815 960 You are more than welcome to bring your own equipment but some places do have rentals you can borrow at a cost. Some places also require a caddy and you must at some places have a buggy to get around in depending on the size of the course. Remember light cool clothing as you are outside all the time and Bali get s very hot and humid. Some places do require that you wear the proper golfing clothing as signs or respect for the sport plus looks good.

Howdy, I just recieved my [Hilton] HHonors newsletter & the Conrad Bali has just opened. Unfortunately it doesn't say where it is located on the island, other than a photo of a nice beach. HHonors price 16th Sept - 25th Dec $110USD with B/fast. Minium 3 night stay. If you stay before Xmas they will upgrade you to an Ocean View room, subject to availability. If you aren't a member it is easy enough to join the Honors program, Conrad is a part of the Hilton group & very very good. Check out the location at Hiltons website. I have stayed at Sheraton Laguna also, fantastic, lovely hotel in Nusa Dua, you can walk along the beach and visit other hotels along the beach too. The Ritz - Carlton may of interest as well Jimbarin Bay, heard good reports about it, dont know how much a night though. Fun travels.

I have stayed in both Sheraton Laguna and Hilton. Both fantastic hotels in Nusa Dua. Both hotels offer large lagoon-style swimming pool, there's even a swimable lagoon in the Sheraton. The beach in Nusa Dua is nice and very quiet compared to the beaches in Kuta and Sanur. Service-wise both hotels are comparable. Amenities-wise, the Sheraton wins but I don't know if it's worth the extra USD 45 per night.
I haven't stayed in the Le Meridien Nirwana but from what I've heard it's also a nice hotel although a bit far from all the fun and shopping spots.
Other hotels in this price range that you might want to check out: Conrad (in Benoa just off Nusa Dua), Grand Hyatt (Nusa Dua), Nikko (Nusa Dua), Westin (Nusa Dua), Melia (Nusa Dua), InterContinental (Jimbaran), Ritz Carlton (Jimbaran). All are nice, high-end, quiet hotels located in nice, quiet beaches.

Check out the Novotel in Tanjung Benoa which is about a 10mins walk from Nusa Dua. The architecture is wonderful and the cook they have is excellent. The hotel is quiet and the service meets any standards you may have. They have 2 pools and plenty of space...
