Amazing location at Alam Indah-Ubud

The Alan Indah
located just a 5 minutes walk
south of the Monkey Forest Jungle
is a true haven.
Tucked away in the lush,
near the river valley
in the village of Nyuhkuning.

There is a choice of 10 comfortable,
guest accommodations
with peaceful views.

The rooms I saw
were beautiful and
not to mention the bathrooms!

I found out from the staff
that every year there is
a yoga group that comes
and stays on this property.
And what a perfect spot for this!

Upon my visit,
there was only the very large
Deluxe Gardenia Suite available
for that evening.
So they must be doing something right!

Accommodations run from
$50-$95.00 USD per night
Prices are subject to
a 15% government tax
There is a 10% discount
for stays of 10 days or more

Unique Quality: Amzing view in a beautiful setting!!!

Unbelievable

This hotel is beautifully set back in the jungle. Each room is it's own little cottage on stilts with incredible views connected by dirt paths. Words can't describe how beautiful this place was.

More about Alam Indah

Alam Indah

by SooBrand about Alam Indah

We stayed in an average room for $50 which included breakfast. This was the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at, my only regret was that we only spent two nights there (the other 5 nights came as a package with our flights). I'd spent a ridiculous amount of time researching accommodation in Ubud on the net - I had a list of criteria: it had to be small, typically Balinese, quiet location and preferably have a garden bathroom. The Alam Indah exceeded my expectations. The staff couldn't do more for you, you just had to ask and they delivered tea and coffee to your verandah, or the garden or the poolside. The room was beautiful, with the biggest bed I've ever slept in, and it was a four poster!!! There was also a day bed to lounge on on the verandah, and our friends who were staying in the room underneath even had their own shrine!!

Best Place to Stay in Ubud

by Aerofilly about Alam Indah

Alam Indah is located a 5 minute walk south of the Monkey Forest (Ubud) in the town of Nyuhkuning. The staff here are wonderful. Ayu and Gusti make you feel right at home when you arrive, greeting you with fresh fruit drinks and escorting you to your lovely room. There are only 10 room here which afford the staff to make sure all of the guests are well taken care of. Some of the amenities include: a small swimming pool set in amongst the lush foliage overlooking the river valley, breakfast is served as part of the room fee, as is afternoon tea, and the staff will make sure you have the best drivers for your day-trips. If you want to feel as though you are at home in Bali, stay here. Ibu Wayan and Bapak Ketut, who own Alam Indah, also own several other hotel properties in the same general area. They include a lower priced property, as well as a few higher priced ones. Their newest property has an adjacent spa with wonderful treatments. They also own the famous Cafe Wayan on Monkey Forest road. Stop by if you need a chocolate fix, their "Death by Chocolate" cake is darn good! If Balinese food interests you, Ibu Wayan's daughter Metri, teaches a cooking class nearby.
