A very nice experience staying in this pension. It is located within the compound of local balinese homes,so it looked very much like one. With beautiful decorated garden, nice walkway and view of the house's pura, sounds of home-kept chirping colourful birds, welcome tea, bathroom with hot shower, room with fan (u dont need A/C, Ubud is chill) , breakfast and nice workers (especially a guy named Kenyat who took us there ). All for only 70,000 Rp per nite for two. At USD 7.50 its a bargain.
Located on the Jalan Hanoman,u can go by 10 minutes walking if you've arrive at Perama station, like i did.But a normal practise is that when u arrive at the station u'll be approached by few men, offering room rental or transportation/taxi. One of them maybe Kenyat, the guy who brought us to Nick's.He gave us a motorbike ride to his place.Very convenient ,with my heavy backpack.
There is a website on the internet for Nick's other pension and hidden cottages (which offers more at higher rate ) you can try contacting them and query about the Jl Hanoman pension.
