Calm and Serenity while staying in Ubud

A peaceful spot to stay in Ubud is
the Pringga Juwita Water Garden Cottages.

As in its name,
you will be surrounded by running water
and lush vegetation
while enjoying your sojourn.

It is located on road parallel to
the Monkey Forest Road,
allowing you to sense a calm
from the bordering rice fields
while being a minutes walk away
from the busy road of Jalan Raya Ubud
and very close to Casa Luna Restaurant.

This hotel along with the Fibra Inn
on Monkey Forest Road
is owned by a
very 'special status' Balinese family.

Sri, the proprietress is
one of Bali's most talented
Lengong dancers,
and at the registration desk you will see
the family portrait of
her husband and children.

There are various cottages in
Balinese style thatch,
wood and bamboo to choose from.

A few are on the ground floor
and the other cottages are 2 stories
with verandah
and calming views to idle your day away.

Most bathrooms are open air,
some rooms have a/c,
all have mosquitoes nets,
there are several areas to relax,
and the staff is friendly.

The furniture is quaint,
but not new.
Bathrooms are very clean.

A swimming pool is located on the property.

Morning breakfast consists of a juice,
eggs, jaffles, and coffee or tea
and is served amongst the greenery
of the gardens.

Their seems to be a bit of a problem
getting onto their web-site,
or sending them an e-mail
for several months now,
so calling may be recommended.

When I asked about their rates
I was told that all they had was a brochure with no rates.
But I had seen on the internet
rates from $60-$70.

We were able to negotiate a
2-storey cottage for $30 US a night,
including breakfast during the week.

Unique Quality: Calm with beautiful grounds

The family is available if you need something

Free pick up to their other property
on Monkey Forest Road that has a spa
