Ubud's best kept secret
I stayed for two nights at Tepi Sawah villas in NOv 2007, with my wife and 5 year old son. The place is simply great! The ambience is natural, full of greenery, beautiful flowers, traditional sculptures.. the rooms comfortable, the food excellent, the service friendly and efficient, and it is 10 min away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, but the hotel offers free pick up and drop service until 10 pm, so thats not an issue. And the best thing is, the price is very reasonable for a hotel of this quality... stay here and you wont be dis-appointed..
Unique Quality: Heritage look beatiful gardens with flowers all around great food good service reasonable price

by Restless-in-kl about Tepi Sawah Restaurant, Ubud
We found this restaurant by accident as we explored Ubud countryside looking for mask makers and sculptures.
Decided to have lunch as I had read about this restaurant in a book. Pretty popular with both locals and tourists alike.
Since there were 4 of us, we ordered different dishes and shared - fried fish with spicy sauce - grilled fish - fried duck (bebek) I liked my fried fish dish as it was tasty and there were various dipping sauces to choose from ranging from garlic sauce to spicy sambal sauce.

Spa at Tepi Sawah Restaurant and Villas

I'm a big pampering fanatic, especially after 10 months of deployment. Has anyone indulged in any of the treatments at this resort's spa?

Thank you for the other site. If I get to Bali it will be for almost 20 days, so I'm sure I'll probably check out every spa on the island at least once while I'm planning! We were just asked for our choice months again to day; apparently someone didn't do the R&R list right the first time, so I hope I still get April.
