Put up your feet on their cozy seats
by Icewine about Bali Pesto Cafe
Just 1-2 minute's walk from Dewi Ayu Guesthouse, we had dinner ALMOST every evening due to its proximity and nice food.
Bali Pesto is excellent value for money in Ubud, a city where most things usually cost a little more, for a little less. I like their iced tea cuz it was actually fruit tea with lots of different tropical fruits. Cheap and yummy seafood too !
Try the Nasi Campur
by arni_ph075 about Abian Restaurant
Abian Restaurant is the inhouse restaurant of Tegal Sari Accommodations, its open air facing the garden and paddy fields..
I didnt actually dine there, but requested for a room service, dining in my room's verandah is much more pleasant..
The choices range from local Balinese Cuisines like nasi campur, nasi goreng, gado gado., and some Western choices. I tried the local food, Nasi Campur (pronounced as "Champoor"). Direct translation is "mixed rice". "Nasi" means rice. Its delicious.
Nasi Campur is rice with boiled egg, chicken, vegies, kropecks, beef, shirmps, and sambal chili..
The Nasi Goreng is also tasty.
Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati
by arni_ph075
I was able to explore this temple complex by accident, while enjoying my lunch @ Cafe Lotus, ive seen the complex. As it was very hot afternoon, not many people dare to venture out..I was able to enjoy exploring the whole complex. Amazing architecture.
Pura Taman Kemuda Saraswati is also referred as Temple of Knowledge. It is along the temple street Jalan Raya...on same street as Ubud Royal Palace. It is famed for the beautiful lotus pond on the front, where nightly cultural dances are being held.
There is no entrance fee to this temple complex.
