The Ubud Village Resort Spa, Ubud, Indonesia - Reviews and Hotel Information

Our stay here was superb. Not a single complaint from me or hubby. Everyone here was so warm, friendly and very cooperative. Resort's staff know you by name...they even got your name put up on your door welcoming you home...very personalised.

Everything...like the restaurant...spa...resort pool was a bit far from our villa...but walking seemed to be very fun...the greenary and beautiful landscape around the resort made walking something so enjoyable.

A friend back home recommended this place, so we thought why not give it a try. The resort is built on about 1 acre plus land, according to the resort’s staff it belongs to the local. He/she must be very creative to have such a good idea of making a resort surrounded by terraced rice fields. To add greenery, the resort even has its own rice fields around its compound.

Upon arrival, greeted warmly at the resort’s lobby given a cold towel and welcome drink, we were immediately taken to our Garden Pool Villa filled with excitement. After a short walk, we were finally at Banjar Kelod 117, our own private villa with a pool, pavilion n gazebo to laze around. Yey...it was exactly like what we saw in the website...the thing is pictures in websites tend to fool us all...but this one...everything looks exactly like those pictures in the resort’s website.

It's located about 5 min drive to Ubud town, transport was never a problem. The resort provides free shuttle every hour. Resort staff were very helpful...things requested done in a short time. Yup...I will definitely recommend this place to others as well. Why not? Great things should be shared!!!

We went exploring our garden villa...from front to the back...quite spacious for two people. The open/outdoor tub and shower...with landscapes everywhere...love that so much. In fact we’ve never used the indoor shower at all. Taking shower outside...under the sun n surrounded with our own landscape was superb...almost felt like showering all the time.

Our garden villa is gated with wall bricks all the way...while the Rice Field View Pool Villa also gated with wall bricks but since it has rice field view so the villas have a slight open walls facing the rice fields making it a bit not so private.

Every morning guests had breakfast at the upper stairs of Angkul-Angkul Restaurant with terraced rice fields as our views. At night it’s very quiet here n going to the toilet late at night was quite a challenge since the villa is 98% glass.
