Raffles City Hotel: Good views and sea breezes
Raffles city hotel (two starred hotel) is another nice place to stay in Bengkulu. It is the second biggest hotel in town after Horison hotel, located at Bengkulu main beach - Panjang beach, around 20 minutes drive from Fatmawati airport, 5 minutes walk from Bengkulu Indah Mall, 10 minutes drive from Suprapto shopping center. The business-style rooms are clean and comfortable, with cable TV; Wi-Fi, IDD telephone, etc. The hotel has a swimming pool, a tennis court, musolah and a wide parking area.
Room rates: superior room Rp.390,000, deluxe Rp. 450,000, suite Rp. 540,000. Rates include airport transport and breakfast for two people.
Most of the hotel workers don’t speak English very well.

Nala Seaside Cottage: A nice beachfront place
Unique Quality: Nala Sea Side offers 25 pleasant & quiet wooden cottages for a quiet getaway. It’s a nice beachfront place which has good views, cafe and sea breezes, with nicely designed rooms cost from Rp. 200,000. Each room has TV & air conditioning.

Wisma Balai Buntar: An Old Dutch villa
Wisma Balai Buntar (telp. 21254), in an Old Dutch villa. Positioned nearby (200 m) Tapak Paderi beach and the British Fort “Marlborough”, is excellent value. Many European tourists and Australian surfers have stayed here. Rooms from Rp. 100,000 to Rp. 150,000. Rates include breakfast. Check out 13:00 PM.
Unique Quality: Wisma Balai Buntar has a good range of clean and simple rooms. It is a friendly family-run inn with clean and quiet rooms. A quiet place with enormous but faded rooms. Every room has air-con and TV. It has laundry service.

Horison Hotel: Horison - The fanciest hotel in town
Horison hotel (telp. 21722, Fax: 22072) where guest are assured of superior level of personalized service and attention, whether staying for business or leisure. It is conveniently located around 1 km west of the city center, 20 minutes drive from the airport and 10 minutes drive to business center. It is popular with business types. Rates from Rp. 450,000 to Rp. 1,400,000
Unique Quality: Horison hotel occupies a prime site with fine view over the Panjang beach. It is the fanciest hotel in town and incredibly peaceful. Rooms are pretty plush but rarely discounted. It has a beautiful swimming pool (open to non-guests) overlooking Panjang beach.
