there are many hotels and guest houses surrounding borobudur temple. just choose by your own, refer to your budget. but if you want to stay in the most luxurious place, the answer is amanjiwo. this hotel kinda like duplicated miniature of borobudur, five plus plus plus [and i can only dreaming about :D] and another fave hotel among the visitors is manohara hotel. for info, manohara is the name of a princess who married to a prince as appears in relief of borobudur, jataka's section. she's half human and bird or said as kinnari [if a man said as kinnara].

The accommodation was very good. I am comfortable with their facilities. Hotel amenities and services are standard and you can enjoy as well private swimming pools. Regarding food, they serve Western cuisine too.

Very relaxing place to stay and I recommend it.

"Borobudur"

This my visit to Borobudur. My main purpose is to join the Rinpoches and lamas from Nepal and Bhutan. We joined a package tour from Jakarta to Borobudur. The agency is called Tazta Tour and cost Rp2,320,000 per person. The package includes travel to Prambanan Hndu Temple, Sultan Royal Palace and batik making centre, with a French speaking tour guide. We also requested to a visit to Amanjiwo Hotel since it was only about 10mins drive from our hotel, Manohara.
