The 3-star Queen Garden Hotel lies a short distance east of Baturraden village. Although the former stream of Dutch tourists has virtually dried out, the hotel succeeds in keeping up its standards. We stayed in a standard room with beautful view to the south for a reduced rate.
The dining room is also arranged so that one can enjoy the view during meals. Although we were the only guests, the 24-hour resto served a good dinner pretty soon after ordering.
Published rates (February 2010, excluding 21% tax and service, including breakfast):
Suite room Rp 1,100,000
Deluxe room Rp 550,000
Standard room Rp 455,000
Economy room Rp 200,000
Extra bed Rp 135,000
But you may ask for and get a considerable low-season discount!
Directions: Best follow the alternative route to the Pancuran Tujuh hot springs, taking the road at your right when facing the 'Gerbang Kawasan Wisata Baturraden'. When you reach the gate to the hot springs, you'll see signboards pointing to the right for about 500 m.
