Hotel Aquarius: Most modern hotel in Palangkaraya

This hotel is the lattest addition to few numbers of upscale hotels you can find in Palangkaraya. Best to make reservation in advance as the hotel is often fully booked. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk to the only shopping mall in Palangkaraya where you can find a more reasonable priced food than foods that were charged by the hotel.

Hotel Lampang.: Company behind the airco...

Since al the hotels in palangka raya have got dark windows and a narrow athmosphere ...this seems to be the best hotel arround. Altough this city is the capital of the 'propinsie' there aren't any international looking accomodations.

After coming from The Borneo swiss hotel in Banjarmasin this looked a bit ...
But when whe came from our week in the forest , it was pure luxury.

You don't have to be alone in your room : we spotted a gekko behind the airco. (very common around here , and completely not dangerous)

The breakfast has some toast and a sort of jam. But there is of course also the plate with rice and chicken. :-))

You can have a balcony near the street side.

Price : max 152 000 ir per room
