Which airport should I land if I were to go to Cipanas, Cianjur. Jakarta airport or Bandung airport. which is nearer?
If you count the distance in km from the airports, Cianjur is definitely closer to Bandung and Cipanas is also slightly closer to Bandung. But if you count travel time then you will be in Cipanas faster from Jakarta Airport, because the greater part of the road is a toll-road (excepting traffic jams at the Jakarta bypass).
I would recommend you come from Jakarta, because then you travel by the Puncak Pass with famous sights on tea plantations.

In Jakarta you can get a vehicle to Cianjur easier than Bandung. You can hire a car from airport, or you can go by bus to Kampungrambutan bus terminus and then take bus to Cianjur.

Was interested to read you are visiting Cianjur and Cipanas,, an area not many travellers normally visit.
Are you going to visit my friend Yudi Sujana in Cianjur by any chance?
