Nice place to relax, near downtown
On weekends, as at any other accommodations in Bandung, it's full. Pool Access rooms are occupied by families with children. So if you will check in on a weekend, you'd better make a reservation a few days or one week before.
Unique Quality: Located on the slope of the hill so the air is pretty cool, but not far from downtown. It's located on Dago area (Jl. Ir. H. Juanda), so downtown is just down the other end of the road.
There are "Pool Access" rooms, and "Garden Access" rooms.
Opinion of Price: most expensive

Nice Accomodation in Jalan Dago
This is one of my favoutite place to stay in Bandung. I like the location in upper jalan Dago... where it is less crowded but still in central location. You can take the angkot (public transportation) in front of the hotel to take you to the center. Like a typical Sheraton Hotel accomodation, service and facility is good. I was staying in a deluxe room which is nice and comfortable. Try getting a room on the main floor with veranda looking at the swimming pool. You can jump in to swim anytime you like :)

Good place for someone always not in the room

The room I stayed in was really comfortable. It's clean. Toilet was a bit small though...but not a major problem. No iron provided...n no ironing allowed in the room...so just send your clothes for pressing...better bring clothes that don't need ironing.
SAVOY HOTEL BANDUNG ART-DECO HOTEL!

HOTEL SAVOY IS A VERY OLD HOTEL SINCE 1932. its art-deco made by dutch architects i believe. Stay is enjoyable as the service is first class. Staff here are very nice!!! You can even request for car rental at a very cheap price! They have concierge that will attend to ANY of your needs. But you have to ask for the girl the receptionist downstairs, because housekeeping understands little english. So go directly to the receptionist and she will take care everything for you. ALL staff are very courteous!!!
Good place for a last minute deal

My 4 nights stay here was pleasant since it was actually a last minute deal...arranged by the agent at the airport...I was really glad to have a place to stay rather than jumping from one hotel to another. Service was fast. The hotel is well kept...it's new I think...so no smell of old wooden furniture...which was great for me. Room service is 24 hours...n the food was nice. Facilities were just fine...nothing to complaint...considering I left the hotel very early in the morning n came back late evening. The only thing is...breakfast selection was very limited. This place don't have continental breakfast...everyday it's local breakfast menu. Well, it's located at Jalan Cihampelas...also known as Jeans Street...n just on the left is Jalan Setiabudi where the ever so famous factory outlet in Bandung is located...Rumah Mode...so shopping is just outside the hotel...within walking distance. Going to other shopping places was never a problem...outside... at the main road...plenty of taxis passing by...n the hotel transport also provide drop off service for a quite reasonable price.
Next visit...I might consider staying at Sany Rosa...its much closer to Rumah Mode...

Hi Shahrir,
There are a lot of factory outlets along Jalan Juanda such as The Blossom, Happenings, Victory, Jet Set, only 10-minute drive from Sheraton Hotel.
The nearest shopping mall is Bandung Indah Plaza, about 30 minutes drive or you can take the public transpo (mini-bus) for Rp 4,000.
For restaurants there is a Thai resto called Thai Palace across the hotel. Also, Dago Panyawangan (Sundanese food), about 10-15 mins drive.
You didn’t ask but I will add, the Dago Endah Golf Course is only about 10-15 mins drive and Bandung Giri Gahana (my favorite course in Bandung!) is only an hour away. :))
(Btw, Senayan is free for you guys, unlimited rounds anytime haha.)

thanks arrianne ,anyway we decide to play at bandung gerihi as you mentioned. we heard a beautiful course.so let the lady busy shopping while the men spent their days hitting the balls. hahahahha.now practicing with my new callaway driver.

there are many shopping malls and FOs nearby the hotels. jalan dago is center of shopping just as jalan riau.
you can check the list of FOs at www.visitbandung.net or any similar website.
