Lovely place, recommend everyone going to Yogjakarta to stay at this hotel.
Martas has a swimming pool, large walk in shower but salty water.steep stairs up to bedroom with airconditioning but wasnt powerful enough to keep it cool with the hot weather. The room has small fridge and small safe. large bed with fan. Has outside veranda area just outside room entrance. A good value for the size of room. close by places to eat. a small mom and pop store across the corner street to buy water, snacks.
On GILI T island there are no cars. they have horses that can pickup toruist with luggage. You can rent bikes at the many vendors. Many walking vendors selling dvd, hats, glasses while your sunbathing, eating, drinking.
On the beach are sunbathers. Bring your bikins ,swim suit. Most are young and in shape.
I saw paddle boarders you can rent. on some beach side cafe that have loungers you can lay on to suntan. When i was swimming in the water the water is very clear you can see fish in the bottom and see schools of fish swim by. also you can snorkel off the beach. It was hot lying on the beach had to go in the water every 30 mins to cool down.
Every night a bar or club has party loud music and dancing they rotate which bar or club to make it fare for the local biz. Ask the resturant staff which one is the party at.

Great Hotel in Ubud area of Bali, Indonesia. The hotel room had great view of rice field.
the hotel is away from street noise traffic. Hotel offer free ride to places to eat, shop, etc.
the hotel names each room i got the HANOMAN ROOM.
NO TV.
Great large breakfast peaceful outdoor breakfast area. Excellent service from great staff.
I can hear the sounds of nature animals, birds chirping, frogs ,owls hooting, insects buzzing in harmony. Made me feel i was in the jungle rain forest setting with the sounds of nature.
I recommend this place.
Staying at this hotel made me feel i saw more of what Bali use to be before all the major hotel resorts were built destroying the landscape for tourism.
Very large room and walkin bathroom with tub.

The Puncak has a million dollar view ontop of a mountain. You can see the ocean cant hear it but see alot of Ocean. New modern hotel. Large glass sliding door facing the ocean.
Its away from street traffic so its quiet.
I went on a waterfall tour, its a hike you can swim or get wet under the waterfall.
On the way i could see the big Volcanoe that is a multiday hike by guide.
The hotel is a short taxi ride to the senggigi area. A tourist area with places to eat, internet cafe, scuba diving comapny, massage parlors, bars.
The Dobermann guard dog.
The owner is from Belgium.
The hotel is on top of a mountain.
Million dollar view my pictures do no justice.
Away from street traffic noise.
King size bed.
double sink.
glass shower door.

I had the garden view pool room. it was quiet place day and night. away from street and foot traffic. The hotel has a large area to get to the room to lobby or to eating area near swimming pool is a good walk. Like most of the beach side hotels which have large pools and places to eat facing the beach.
Tip when i booked hotel i did not include breakfast. when i was at hotel. the hotel slip a letter under my door for discount breakfast for a reduced rate. I went to front desk they issued me a card for breakfast and when i went to the breakfast area i sign in the clip board. They offer eggs toast juice, coffee it was a large breakfast with great seat location facing the foot path ocean view of beach on backside of hotel.
They also had buffet breakfast for those that did include breakfast when you book the hotel online.

I discovered this wonderful resort through Frommer’s “Bali & Lombok” guide. There was only one room available when I called (3 days before arrival) it was an en suite room which was part of a villa and shared a terrace with the residents of the adjacent room. There are just 23 rooms/villas in the complex, and the owner, Mr. Agung Rai, built the resort as a fund raiser for the museum he has built in the grounds. My bathroom was tiled with lots of space; my room was clean although the furniture had seen better days. There was a safe and a refrigerator containing beer and soft drinks in the room. The patio overlooked an area of jungle and tropical gardens, including a beautiful lily pool and a stream. This is the typical outlook for all of the villas in the resort, most of the hotel rooms are built on the hillside overlooking the swimming pool. The one luxury villa that I looked at was very well furnished in contemporary Balinese style. My daily room rate was $105 (including taxes), which overall I considered reasonable given the site's amenities.
There are four restaurants in the complex, I ate at the Kokokan Club which specializes in Thai dishes, and the Kafe Arma which has a selection of Indonesian dishes, in addition to its international menu including its inspiring Italian cuisine. I enjoyed complimentary afternoon tea at the poolside restaurant which overlooks the rice terrace and the stream. The Warung Kopi is more of a coffee/tea shop serving sandwiches. The resort offers many fascinating cultural workshops including Balinese dance, Balinese music (Gamelan), wood carving, Balinese batik, cookery, Hinduism in Bali, etc. There is an outdoor stage and auditorium where various cultural performances may be seen. The Agung Rai Fine Art Gallery was the jewel in the crown, though. If you want a secluded retreat with easy access to the wonderful Balinese cultural life, you should seriously consider staying here.

This hotel was a port in a storm for me, as the arrangement with the people I had initially arranged to stay with proved to be too much of a compromise. So, I took a taxi and visited all the hotels for Tuban listed in Frommer’s “Bali & Lombok”. I settled on the Baruna Bali, and what a wonderful experience it proved to be. The reception staff were all kind and helpful. My room was bright, clean, and cheerful with excellent night time lighting. Bathroom was small but adequate, no tub but a great shower unit (I chose the least expensive type of room). The pool and poolside areas were immaculately maintained and the beach was directly accessible outside the pool area. Coffee shop and restaurant staff were courteous and attentive; in fact, the staff at this hotel impressed me more than at any other hotel I’ve stayed, and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years.
The breakfast (included in room price) was very good and plentiful. I was pleased to be staying in the quieter area of Tuban, but the main shopping area of Kuta is a 10 – 15 minute drive away (in traffic). Security at the hotel is excellent (necessary in Bali); I was stopped and asked for my hotel guest card every time I entered the property, so I felt very secure on the property and indeed fairly secure in the surrounding area, although, I would not advise venturing out on foot after dark. The hotel was renovated 2 years ago, and is built in a traditional low rise Balinese style, with tropical gardens to the rear and sides. Rooms and general decor is pleasantly contemporary. There is an ocean facing Spa. Denpasar International Airport is just 10 minutes away.

It may happen that your flight schedule is such that you arrive late in the day at Jakarta airport and have to wait for a connecting flight the next morning.
The options we already have tried out for spending that night are as follows:
(1) Hang around at the airport. Certainly the cheapest but also the least attractive option. There are virtually no facilities (only some hard benches that one may find occupied already), and all services close up at night.
(2) Check in at the Airport Hotel (http://www.jakartaairporthotel.com). This is conveniently located in the international terminal building, but badly overpriced with rates starting at USD 120 nett. If you are prepared to pay that kind of money, you are much better off at the FM7 Resort Hotel (see below).
(3) Check in at Huswah Transit Hotel.
This is the cheapest of several hotels close to the airport and offering free transfer from and to the airport. We found it ok if all one wants is a (cold) shower and a bed to lay down.
Positives: spacious, reasonably clean room with fresh bed linen.
Negatives: airconditioning not working, bare bathroom (no mirror, no hook for a towel, stamp-sized towel).
We booked a standard room through Agoda at USD 25.31. However, we found that the same room appears on their local price list for Rp 175,000. So another time we would just call them from the airport as walk-in guests. Rates for other room types range from Rp 120,000 for an economy room to Rp 200,000 for a suite room (double occupancy).
The transfer service was satisfactory. We called them from the airport after collecting our bags (021.5555 885, the number on the Agoda voucher was incorrect). Although the distance from the airport is said to be 7 car minutes, it took them 20 minutes to arrive due to traffic congestion. The next morning they were ready at the agreed time.
Unlike what is stated in their brochure, they do NOT provide breakfast (any more). There is a stand in the lobby selling mineral water and some snacks, but these can be had cheaper at the neighbouring Indomaret shop.
Alternatives.
If you are willing to pay more for more comfort, check out these (in the same area and also with free transfer):
Amaris Hotel, typical discounted rate Rp 430,000 nett.
FM7 Resort Hotel rates starting at USD 85 inclusive.

Nice woodden bungalow, some on stilts (good view). With attached bathroom 125000 Rp/day per person, shared bathroom 100000Rp/day. Price includes three meals.
Poyalisa is located on a small private island, beach both sides and a rocky sunset view point.
Friendly people, nice food and easy to reach from Ampana if coming by bus from Rantepao
Free snorkeling trip to nearby reefs, 50 000 Rp/person for all-day snorkeling trip (more than 1 hour by boat and pic-nic lunch). All snorkeling trips are free for people who stay longer (ten days or more)
cant fault the hotel other than a facelift on the rooms which i believe they are in the process of doing its beutiful tropical setting right on the beach, two pools resturant and bars, although we ate out for all our meals i cant comment on the food but would imagine its excellent,
when we return to bali we will stay here again without doubt, all the staff very pleasent and always smilling :)
pools where never full even when the hotel was pretty full it never ever felt crowded

Q: “ Any Suggestion About MEDAN 5days TRIP ???? ” "hi, do u all have any experience and suggestion about a 5 days 4 nites Medan trip? Share with me~ Below are some information as..."
