feeling homey like stay in uncle's house

the homey feeling being here is nice. it used to be a colonial house which served guests from a long time ago, mostly dutch and indo-dutch people.

no wonder if the atmosphere is just like back to the 50s. with room design, with its garden and dining room and their menu. can be found here breakfast a'la dutch just like pannekoeken [pancake] and bitterballen.

Unique Quality: the dutch influenced "paviljoen" or an annexed room of a main house. the feeling is just like visit an oom's house. oom is the way to call an uncle in dutch language.

but by mid of 2006, another new rooms were built at the hilly backyard. it's so lovely. added with a swimming pool on top roof, overlooking city centre of manado, where sunset can be seen.

here my picture on a lazy evening, back from a visit to mount lokon and lake tondano in tomohon.
