You'll love staying here - Murex Dive Resort
It's not just the awesome diving that brings divers back time and again to Murex in Manado. Guests love staying here because they love the family atmosphere.
The food is great. Full of local flair and flavour. It's fresh, varied and very tasty.
There is a wide varieties to choose for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is continuous complimentary tea, coffee and ice water in between meals. In the afternoons there are local snacks to keep your energy up until dinner. Once a week, there is a barbecue banquet with whole spit roasted pig, barbecue fish, prawns and a variety of very delicious local dishes and the freshest of seasonal fruits.
Unique Quality: Murex has been in operation since 1987. It is the smallest, quietest and most "intimate" of the three pioneering resorts (NDC, Murex & Barracuda), with nice landscaping featuring lotus ponds. The bungalows are of Indonesian style and in a water-garden setting.

The number one amphibious experience
Perfect. Murex Dive resort will offer you the best resort-diving experience in Manado. That's because they are the most experienced in both resort and dive operations. The cottage-settings will really comfort your senses. They serve up great meals for all guests with staff almost always on standby. They have Manado's top dive guides - the guides that will show you all the cool things you want to see, and make sure all of it stays there for the next diver, and the next hundred divers. Top class service. Located right by the volcanic sand beach, skies turn a lavender colour at sunset. I wouldn't have it anywhere else if on a dive holiday in Manado.
Unique Quality: The world famous Bunaken Marine Park used to serve several fishing communities that have now been displaced from their fishing jobs because of the reserve. They have however, converted their trade to a sustainable one, by making souvenirs from coconut shell and others as boatmen for tourists running between the islands. Murex Dive resort sells some of the souvenirs from Bunaken island. They are cheap and lovely trinkets that serve a cause. I always buy a few when I visit just for gifts. But check with the staff 'cos there are also souvenirs from Bali which won't serve the local community!

This place has bungalow rooms, and is on a remote beach. A very nice place to stay
