Daniel's Homestay: A very good option

The bungalows are basic but very clean. Good food.

Prices around 10$/person (3 meals included). The hotel has a good and cheap diving centre with a friendly staff.

several homestay in liang beach: in liang or pangalisang?

due to the limited time at my first visit, i stay in tongkaina village, about 15 minutes away from bunaken island by boat.

but second visit .... oho ... long summer holiday with my beloved ones, we definitely stay in bunaken island.

there are many cottages or bungalow look-alike accommodation along the beaches of liang and pangalisang. just choose them based on your budget. and we prefer to stay in liang beach, in a hilly area overlooking blue turquoise water.

we love the character of the place we'd stay. it's a family atmosphere over there. so the feeling is just like family members, where we share the stories and have nice chit chat after sunset. and of course, delicious meals for dinner.

there's a hammock in front of our bungalow where we can lay lazily if we don't do diving or snorkeling.

Santika Hotel Manado: separated from bunaken island

first time visiting bunaken underwater garden, i wasn't stay in bunaken island. i took santika resort and spa in tongkaina village in front of bunaken island, separated by a channel.

the hotel has their own jetty and boat service to go to the islands nearby [bunaken marine park, consist of 5 islands: bunaken, manado tua, siladen, nain and mantehage].

it takes 15 minutes by boat from santika to bunaken island and its coral garden.

Bastianos: Friendly and affordable

Friendly staffs, clean and neat. It's really value for money.

Located right on Bunaken Island.. you dont want to waste your time for travelling from Manado city to Bunaken island. It can be equivalent to 1 boat dive.

Tanta Moon - Siladen Luxury Villas: Execellent Private Services

Staying with Tantamoon makes us feel at home, always provide private services as we can have whatever we wish for during our stays. Enjoying sunrise with local view activities on the sea just from our bed. Feeling the way local treats us in hospitality and warm during the day just from our sunbed. Wonderful time we had there are memorable and surely will return..

Bunaken SeaGarden Resort: Cosy dive resort on Bunaken Island

A cosy dive resort with spacey cottages on a beautiful location on Bunaken Island
It has a realy fantastic housereef (Bunaken Timur), perfect for snorkeling and diving.

They offer good clean and spacy traditional cottages with modern bathrooms and a nice veranda , the price is inclusive good and tastefull meals, coffee, tea and water and good service. A jungle tour and a vulcano tour were arranged on short term.

Diving is also offered and the divespots of Bunaken are in the top 10 of indonesia.
If you visit Indonesia for diving than Bunaken is one of the best choises.

On the Island there are no cars:-))) or bars, shops or disco's, even internet is a problem.
I find it a little (divers)paradise and i can recommend it.

Fantastic housereef.
Beautifull location.
