Prayers as your take off
by SLLiew
I was alerted while on board "Lion Air" that stashed in the pouch behind every seat with the standard plane safety and evacuation pamphlet is another pamphlet called "Invocation".

Mofas are the main means of transportation of the local merchants and smaller shops in Medan and other towns of Indonesia and this is why you will see many interesting vehicles like the motorbike that is delivering fresh eggs in quite an unusual and funny way at least in the eyes of the tourists.
Trying your kicking skills
by SLLiew
A group of middle persons standing in a circle and kicking a shuttle around.
The object is not to allow the shuttle to touch the ground but quickly kick it to another person in the group.
This is like a simpler version of "sepak raga" where a small shuttle is used instead of rattan ball. I have not seen this played in Malaysia but have seen it in Vietnam.
It caught my camera and my finger in the picture.
