Sari Cottages: Sari Cottages

I didn't stay here but I did check the ground out of curiosity.

All cottages are over the water and I think they have the most count of bungalows compare to other guesthouses. Some have aircons and TV and some comes with fans
There is a restaurant and a small area with roof just for you to sit and enjoy the scenery. In fact we were sitting there and taking pictures of the place :)

Reza and Dira Homestay: I with I stay here forever

We were staying at the bungalow at the end of the jetty so we have the full view. Totally love waking up in the morning and see the sunrise from our verandah or sit in the jetty to see the sea turtles

They only have 3 bungalows over the water (with private bathroom) for rent. The rest are on the beach. Some has private bathroom and some don't
All bungalows only have fan, no aircon
There is a restaurant located over the water as well. Just be careful if you stay in long weekend and there are groups booking the restaurant they can do karaoke until late at night which can be overheard thru the entire island

The rooms and bathroom are clean. Electricity only runs from 6pm-6am like the rest of the island except in 2 high end resort

Reza & Dira Homestay-Restaurant: Derawan Best homestay

Under the bridge, in an edge water, there are big, green turtles resting. Those are with no doupt a big atraction for everybody visiting this place

homestay with four (4) rooms on a bridge at the beach.

where else would you get a room to stay above the clear green turqouis water? cute turtles will give you a welcome dance right in front of your room

Losmen Lestari: Water bungalow for US$5/day!

There are 2 ways to stay in Derawan island. Either u stay in Resort or in a backpacker hostel (losmen).
Of course resort cost a lot, but u got nice bungalow with aircon and inside bathroom - but not a beach front view.
Losmen is not that bad. It's only Rp 50,000/night with fan, 3 beds, tho has shared bathroom. But u got water bungalow, in the end of a jetty where u got the best view.

Best view, quiet, clean.
