Gangga Island Resort: Pampered in all and everything

It is the only resort on a rather big island. It has fifteen wooden bungalows built on stilts with high ceilings and a spacious veranda overlooking the beach. Each bungalow has two rooms elegantly furnished with wooden furnitre and a touch of local colors. They all have air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a satellite television with international channels, a bathroom with hot water, tea and coffee making facilities and a mini bar.

- salt-water swimming pool on the edge of the ocean
- Pasung SPA
- two open air restaurants: one for barbeque nights with sand floor and another near the bar serving the other nights

- boutique selling selection of jewelry, textiles and gifts from around Indonesia

Unique Quality: Gaspare and Hanne Davi, the managers are reallt extraordinary people who have created an eco-friendly resort whose mission is to protect the marine resources and promote the development of the local villages. We saw with our eyes the improvement the made during from 2004 and 2006!
We also have adopted and promptly released into the ocean a sea turtle we named "Vale the Doctor" (if you're a fan of Valentino Rossi, you'll recognize the nickname).

Both time we made a wonderful dives with their diving ceneter and I strongly advice every diver who dives for fun to try their services and let himself be spoiled troughly!
