Nirwana Gardens: Lower priced accomodation that's still comfortable
Dont' expect a fancy hotel but this is a reasonably price hotel that has adequate basic facilities. Rooms are not luxurious but are reasonably comfortable if you are not fussy.
It does not have as much recreational facilities or restaurants or activities compared to Bintan Lagoon. The infinity pool is quite nice though. The beach area is clean. I didn't like the food at the kelong restaurant... expensive and very mediocre.
My friends have tried the Indra Maya villas and those are supposed to be very nice with a pool.

BRF Holidays Pte Ltd: Best tour agency to secure Bintan resorts packages
This is the MAIN distributor of Bintan holiday packages as this agency is linked to the Bintan Resorts Group that owns the resorts on Bintan. You are thus going directly to the source and cutting out the middlemen which may just provide you with cheaper packages than most other tour agencies.

Nirwana Resort Hotel: Nirwana Resort Hotel
This is a family-orientated resort. Lots of family-friendly facilities are available like game rooms, table tennis tables etc. It has one of best designed swimming pool among the various resorts on Bintan, so much so, the beach is pretty much deserted most of the day. You could walk the full distance of the beach and reach the next resort - the Banyan Tree, which is a good 1 hour stroll away across yet-to-be developed stretches.

Nirwana Resort Hotel: Yummy Themed Buffet In Nirwana Resort Hotel
The guests were given a welcome drink upon arrival and checking-in was a breezy affair. The staff checked us into a room which wasn't tidied up yet and immediately, we were given another room with apology.
The room was spacious and you can see the pool from the room.
Their themed buffet was very interesting and it's very delicious!
The gym was a little small, but the equipments were adequate.
The beach is awesome and the water is clear blue. You can even see some fishes swimming around you.

Nice relaxing place. Lobo is a really nice guy...lots of kids around. If you like to play chess, play with Lobo! Excellent breakfast (nasi goreng) included in the price.
One of the cabins has a bee hive in the roof...make sure you don't get that one!

Nirwana Gardens: Family resort
It is a good place for couples with babies, toddlers and kids below 7. It has a wadding pool, kids playground and kids club that the little ones will enjoy very much. The staff there seems to be very used to little ones running about that they play with them too. It has a big compound for the kids to move around. There are fishes at the entrance and at certain hours, they can feed the fishes.

Nirvana Hotel: Nirvana Hotel
I did not stay here but the "cottages" are really right on the beach. Ok they are about 6 feet from it but its about as close as I think you can get without an over the water hut. The grounds were very clean and the restuarant was very good and not pricey. The staff at the restuarant were very nice. The beach was clean and gorgeous. In short I wished I had stayed the night there.

Nirwana Resort Hotel
The Nirwana Resort Hotel is the place that we stayed in. It was one of the larger choices of accommodation with hotel style rooms rather than little bungalows like many of the other places.
There was a gym we used daily with two treadmills, free weights and some machine weights also.
The pool is a beautiful setting to pass the day with a spa pool hidden amongst the shrubs in the middle and even a pool bar so that you can get your drinks without leaving the cool water!
The beach is private and a short walk from the pool.

BRF Holidays: Cheaper Accomodation Rates!
This does not refer to any hotel in particular.
But if you are planning a trip to Bintan from Singapore, you may want to book both the ferry tickets and accomodation from BRF Holidays instead. BRF is of course Bintan Resort Ferries and is the operator of the ferries shuttling between Singapore's Tanah Merry Ferry Terminal and Bintan's Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal.
BRF Holidays is also the main booking agent for most of the hotels in Bintan and almost all the travel agents in Singapore (online and offline) resell the holiday packages from them. When you buy direct from BRF Holidays, you can often save about 15% or more!
It's significantly cheaper. Enough said!

Nirwana Resort: Unpretentious Resort-Style Accomodation
Nirwana Resort is a bright and cheery resort-style hotel. During my stay, the hotel was very well-kept and was an absolute joy to stay in. This beach fronted hotel is located within the sprawling grounds of Nirwana Gardens and offers a reasonable array of recreational and business facilities.
Although designed to cater to the masses, it somehow still manage to retain a quiet sense of serenity which permeates the atmosphere there.
The staff were also very friendly and smile whenever eye contact is made - Genuine Indonesian hospitality.
In short, Nirwanwa Resort is a great and affordable place to unwind.
The free form swimming pool is one of the best of any hotel. It is landscaped with well-placed plants and has 2 jucuzzi sections. It also offers its users a great view of the beach and the South China Sea!

Mana-Mana Chalet: Simple and Nice
I find the Mana-Mana Cabanas to be cosy, simple and nice. Clean room with fridge, TV and a small wardrobe. The bathroom is clean with the necesary stuff, just that waterflow is slow. Air-conditioned plus a ceiling fan. For a cheap comfy stay - I recomend Mana-Mana.
The verandah - A nice place to chill and chat over a glass of cold drink, with the wind blowing to your face and a good place to dry your wet towels..etc
The Sundeck - Perfect for relaxing with a book
The Staff - Simply polite and nice, just think that they should employ more, the current ones are over-worked
