Generally, you should be able to get a hotel room even without booking because not many people come to Singkep Island, maybe except for high seasons such as the Malay new year (Hari Raya). The price per room per night should not exceed US$20.

Sri Indah Hotel

There are only 4 hotels in Dabo town at Singkep Island, and I stayed at the Sri Indah Hotel. This is actually a house being converted into a hotel. The room is basic with a double bed, air-con, fan, TV, toilet (only cold water), cupboard and dressing table. The price is about US$10 per night and it can go down to US$7 per night if you are a regular customer. The location of the hotel is good as it is at a quiet corner of Dabo town and yet not far away from the town centre (anyway, the town is very small). It is also quite near to the speed boat jetty. Overall, the stay here is basic and OK, please do not expect too much because this is a "off the beaten path" island.
