Hotel Kenari Bukit Indah, Pare Pare: Great views of the harbor

If you are having an overnight stay in Pare Pare on your way to Tana Toraja, Hotel Kenari Bukit Indah is a good place to choose. It is a little way out of the main town centre perched on top of a hill with great views of the town and harbor below. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant is an excellent vantage point for looking over the bay while have a refreshing beer. Service at the restaurant was a little light on when we stayed but a great place to break up the trip to Rantepeo after a full day of sight seeing and travel.

Views are sensational!

Bira Beach Hotel: Great views from cliff top at Bira

If you are heading south to Pantai Bira, the old Bira Beach hotel is a good plce to stay. The whole place looks a little wind swept, and considerable tidying of the garden could be done, but the views from the cliff top restaurant are exceptional and there is easy access to the beach. Rooms are basic, but big and clean. Those near the edge of the cliff really feel the wind in a storm! The restaurant serves good quality cheap meals and the service is good. Well worth a few days of snorkelling or diving, pleasant beach walks and relaxation.

at the city center: Makassar nice and cheap hotel

WismaMakassar Small hotel, but it was nice in service, hospitality of the employees,clean room,not so far from the city center, but you must book in advance, because it always fullbook

The hotel with single bed or double bed, the room is clean, a bathroom inside with hot and cold water, a color tv, air conditioned, a cafetaria, you can order your lunch and dinner
at every time you feel hungry, even in the late of night, the room rate is about Ten dollars
per night
