Best Hotel in Town
The town of Makassar is not a flashy city, and you can easily see its modesty while passing the streets. However the Aryaduta is a step above the rest and is the only true 4-star hotel in town.
The rooms are clean and the staff is very courteous and helpful. The lobby is quite large and has polished floors and walls, making every attempt to be a plush example of western elegance. The rooms are not as highly decorated, but are comfortable and clean nonetheless.
Unique Quality: Rooms start about 1200000 rupiah, with breakfasts included.
There is a decent and moderately priced restaurant in the lobby.
There is a patio and small pool outside of the lobby. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the beach and some seafood restaurants.

Good Service, Good Location
To be honest I am impressed with the way they welcoming their guest. Put their hands on their chest and nodding deep as appreciation, and giving you broad smile “Selamat Datang or Welcome”. It is not only coming from concierge or front desk staff but also the security. After a long day, you feel warmed with this reception. It is not what I was expected. Because what I was looking for just prime location, near Losari beach and word of mouth says it is the best hotel you can get in Makassar. Yet, this hotel is not failed to impress me. I loved staying there.
Unique Quality: Ask for the room with the sea view. Their deluxe is big and spacious. And you can walk to the Losari beach and the great sea food restaurant along the beach.

Looks good from the building but very bad on the services. Not worthed compared to the price. Not recommend at all.
