Campsite of Lake Ranau: The open air accommodation @ Ranau

By this presentation, I would like to underlining the words of my friend Nick (VTer NickIng). Whenever I tell him "I want to lay down under the stars shining all night long." He laugh out loud and gave comments, 'Dear @rie .... that's only happened in your dream. You better find a room in a hotel which have stars painted on the ceiling, so you can feel trully sleep in the open air." But noway. See, Nick. In Ranau I just need to take my velbed, using the sleeping bag and I can enjoy the stars are smiling upon my face. Gotcha, my Johnny English :D

Everywhere in the village: Local house ... (continued) 1

Panji and Eddy stay overnight in a village, look at them having dinner. In very simple home but the quality of the food is good enough. Ikan patin!!! The expensive white water fish in Jakarta, can be found here so cheap :)

Everywhere in the village: Ranau's best accomodation

There's no arguably being stay in local houses. Feel like locals, surrounded by smiling faces and sure, learn a bit of their lingo.

Wooden house with wooden cabins about 1,5 m from the ground. Plus thin mattress, blanket, pillow and including breakfast.

Tjek Na: Absolutely local accomodation

Nice place to stay-overnight, cozy, calm and very close to the lake.

Traditional old house which is renovated succesfully. I can smell the fragrance of the wooden wall and ceiling, the carving around the veranda 'till the nice home-made cuisine. Hmmmm ....
