How to locate a transport provider which able to cater pick-up and drop-off service from Jakarta airport to Lokasari area? Plus daily renting transport service with driver for 9 persons?

Thanks and Regards

Hi Yeo,

It is so easy to provide transport service in Jakarta.
After arriving in Jakarta airport you just find Transport service in arrival hall.
If you have a time to visit Yogyakarta you can contact our Tour & Travel at www.yahoo.com

Travel Tips for Jakarta

ask someone to take you to...

by DV8

ask someone to take you to Pasar Raya Blok M (a shopping complex). Don't waste your time in the building. Go behind into the traditional markets that are set up on weekends. It will be a hot, crowded and sometimes 'fragrant' experience. Don't take your valuables and definitely don't keep your wallet in your hip pocket. My fondest memory of Jakarta is a matter strictly between me and my confessor.

My second fondest memory of Jakarta involves roaming the traditional markets and neighborhoods well away from areas where 'bules' (local slang term for light-skinned foreigners) would normally be expected. Even in a big city, Indonesians are very friendly, gracious people. It will add tremendously to your experience if you can speak the language. If you can't, get a local guide/translator and head for the 'kampung' (village, but in the context of Jakarta, traditional neighborhood).

Exploring Menteng, Kota and Pasar Baru to feel the old Jakarta. Many old buildings are located on these districts. Nassaukerk, Kunstkringgebouw, Bouwploeg and Vrijmetselaarsloge in Menteng. Then Museum Fatahillah (Faletehan), Museum Wayang and Gedung Arsip Nasional (de Klerk Huis) in Kota plus Gedung Kesenian Jakarta at Pasar Baru, etc.

Cengkareng Golf Club

by chiabh

The par-72 18-holes Cengkareng Golf Club is designed by Walter Raleigh Stewart... Playing to a short 5,860 yds from the blue tees, the First Nine is 2,875 yds with the Secnd Nine at 2,985 yds... The course is rather flat with wide fairways which is easy even for beginners... Water comes into play in a number of holes... The only other distraction is the taking off of aircrafts at the perimeter Jakarta International Airport...

This is a walking course with pretty lady caddies... The clubhouse comes with both men and ladies changing rooms with electronic key locks (called TeE cards)... The TeE card is a one card and is used for golf registration, restaurant, halfway houses, pro-shop and the locker room... Golfers need only to play only at time of check-out... The golfer's terrace (TeE Venue) is set in a garden setting oberlooking the finishing hole... For both Asian and Japanese food, there is the Golfer's Grill... There is the normal pro-shop and driving range to complete the services offered...

A Surprise: Erasmus of Rotterdam in Jakarta

by ullfri49

Maybe it is a surprise-
to see Erasmus of Rotterdam in Jakarta?
but you can find him-
Erasmus, the good friend with liberal views in Renaissance, a time long time before, but modern as well today
see his picture in a coloured glass window in the entrance hall of the "Oasis Restaurant" in the Jalan Raden Saleh.
See the Photo.
And see even the internet side of the Oasis Restaurant.
