Great Hotel in the CBD
This is a really nice hotel in Central Business District of Jakarta. So you surround by beautiful buildings. The rooms is very nice and spacious and also the bathroom is nice and big. I stayed here after my wedding and they suprised me with a bath full of rose pettles and a special cake made for us. The room has a nice big flat screen TV with satelite TV. Breakfast is great here as they have a large variety of various food. Also a nice hotel if you have kids as they also have great baby sitting facitlies.
Unique Quality: One thing that stands out in this hotel is the great local art. Really fantastic.

Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta
Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta was excellent! I'm not saying that because I'm an FS employee but the staff is friendly and very helpful. The hotel is set up as a business hotel with a lot of functions necessary for the business traveler. They have all the amenities you need and can arrange transport to any point in the city and beyond.
Unique Quality: I highly recommend The Bar just adjacent to the main lobby. Entertainment is fantastic and the crowd is not pretentious. Try a drink called "platok", it'll make your head spin but in a good way!

Secluded 5 Star Hotel
The Four Seasons is quite a ride from the Jakarta Airport but the stay at this hotel is worthwhile. Security is tight as they will check both the hood and the luggage compartment but its worthwhile for the security. It's a nice cozy hotel from the hustle and bustle of the city. And the room is fantastic. I got mine for US$140 corporate rate when the usual is US$170 per night for a King size deluxe room.
The service is as per any 5 star hotel. The cafe serves great breakfast and dinner buffet spreads but the a-la-carte menu is a bit disappointing. No chance to dip in the pool but it looks really nice.
Unique Quality: Not much of a great view but the service is great and the staff is ever willing to help. As I mentioned, my room was fantastic. The photos will tell the story.
Its a 15 minute ride from Plaza Indonesia by Silver Birdor a 25 minute ride to Plaza Senayan or Senayan City. The time will vary if it is rush hour.
