Be Careful of In House Massage Service
I and my hubby stayed there for 2 nites and booked for a 1 hour massage service at the hotel's fitness centre last month (May, 2010). We are told to receive massage in separate rooms and my hubby was offered "special service" a few times during the 1 hr time.
It's a bit irritating when we just want to relax our body after 1 day walk. Sad of all, my hubby identified that his wife is just in next room and he didn't need the service, the masseuse throw me a funny smile when she walked out the room by telling me that my hubby is strong.
It's a bad experience to me.
Unique Quality: As to the room, it's average for the price of a 2 star hotel. Lighting is very dim.

Ibis Tamarin is a mid range priced accomodation in Jakarta. The price of the rooms depends on which type of room promotion you take up. I took the cheapest package which is RP526,000 for 2 nights excluding breakfast. This package is only available if you book & pay online. Cozy rooms and also it is only 3 minutes walk to Plaza Sarinah.

Located at Tourism Corridor
Located near the Central bussines and shopping center, Sarinah Dept Store and Sabang street. And don't forget to try Fried Rice Mutton at Jalan Jaksa. not far from train station

If the bus is still running you will have to take to GAMBIR Station which is 5 minutes away from Jalan Wahid Hasyim the location of your hotel by 3 wheel (called Bajai- dark red color) your flight is arriving midnight its better to stay at the airport till dawn.

You will be getting out of the airport about 1 in the morning. Better to just take a Blue Bird Taxi. It will cost you about 80,000 to 90,000 rupiah (I think).
