Frightening Area
The hotel was old & delapidated, restaurant food was poor & the outlying areas were frightening, we just didn't leave the hotel.

Santika Hotel Jakarta (group of Gramedia Publishing Company). Also available in other cities, like Santika Hotel Jogjakarta, Santika Hotel Surabaya, Santika Hotel Bandung, Santika Hotel Bali and Santika Hotel Semarang.
Unique Quality: In lazy days, I do enjoy to stay in one of these four stars hotels and go to the swimming pool (except at Surabaya, they don't have this item). Open daily from early morning 'till 20.00.

I know it is a stupid questions to ask, cause there is a lot of places to shop but it would really help me if anyone could just maybe list down places to shop like maybe for
1. Textiles, silk and Clothings
2. Traditional ornaments and accessories
3. Stuff for Kids

there's a place in jakarta you can find a stuff :
1.Tanah Abang Market ---- textil and also clothes
2.ITC Mangga Dua ---- clothes and bag
3. Mangga Dua ---- clothes,accesoris,bag and shoes
*ITC Mangga Dua & Mangga Dua in the same are ,you can stayed at Le Granduer hotel or Ibis Mangga Dua...only walking distance you can reach this market.
*Hotel Millenium & Hotel Santika Jakarta is the nearest hotel to Tanah Abang.
