4* hotel Near tanah abang

located in central Jakarta, walking distance to tanah abang ,a good ,clean 4 * hotel with all needed facilities to cater you .The food is not that bad although its not much variety.

Unique Quality: easy aCCESS to tanah abang....

Millennium Sirih Jakarta

Location wise is quite centralized, but since it's too near with Thamrin CBD area, the traffic in this area is always packed during office hours.
And there are lots of one way streets without U turn in this area, so if you're not familiar with this area, becareful when you drive here.
Wasn't quite satisfied with the service last time I stayed here, the fridge was not there, I had to request for one and internet is not free for corporate rate.
Furthermore on my last day the internet was down the whole night when I need it urgently.

Millennium Hotel

During my stay in Jakarta I stayed in the luxurious Millennium Hotel. A great hotel, with a nice central lobby and all facilities you can think of: three good restaurant (especially the Indonesian food at the ground floor is very good) a nightbar, a outdoor swimming pool and a spa with sauna and fitness centre. Enough to keep yourself busy for a while. The personnel is very helpful and friendly and the rooms are very clean.

The location is ideal: very close to the city centre and almost directly at the famous Tanah Abang market. To the airport is about 40 drive from the hotel.

Unique Quality: One bad thing about the Millennium Hotel is the feeling it gave me when I entered the building. After a drive through the city, through the slums and the extreme poverty it made me feel like a greedy super-star that was running away from the dirty surroundings. The hotel was fantastic, but still I would have liked a 2-star hotel in the city centre better probably.

Jakarta-Strategic Stay for Shopping Trip

service, facilities, amenities fits as what 4 starhotel should be.(indonesia standard)
the staff are friendly and the service is fast.
try ask for a pool- view rooms, as we could also see its mini garden(beside the pool) with the skyscrapers as the background.note that, the pool is at 4th floor.

Unique Quality: the only perks staying here is the location. like what the property agent always chants, it's location, location, location!

the hotel is 10-15 walkminutes to tanah abang- a great place for apparel shopping at jakarta.

also 20 minutes walk to sarinah departmental store-mall for indonesians handicraft, souvenirs item (though at tourist price- better go to blok M, jakarta)

there is also a travel agent caters only for people going to bandung (parametta travel agency- by van-comfortable trip) across the hotel.

Budget accomodation

The hotel is clean and big. Room is spacious and bathroom has bathtub. Locationwise it's quite central. The surrounding area isn't very nice but if you'r etravelling to and from by taxi it should be okay. Breakfast standard. Price wise it's cheaper than average
