The coast and shoreline is nice but if you want to experience the real Bali Magic, you must go inland to the mountains. There are many local tours of the Island which are inexpensive. Dont book them before you arrive, you will pay too much! There is always availability after you get there, if you book them from home or your travel agent, they get a commission, so wait until you arrive in Bali to book! You can even get a car and driver for about $35-$50/day if your bargaining skills are good. Just make sure your guide is knowledgable and can speak english well. If you have your own car and driver, you can stop where you want and take lots of pictures!
