Orang-utans, jungle love, hula hoops, papaya party

"Phew! The fun-lover's guide to Bali & Indonesia"
I travelled with JiJi Bangkok-Penang-Medan, ate bad laksa but avoided chicken feet, trekked in the jungle in Bukit Lawang, met orang-utan, had a jungle romance, sustained hula-hooping injuries on Samosir Island, gorged on mangoes, faced the ulta-touristy surfing-Ronald Kuta beach, fled to the hippy Ubud, indulged in organic food, did yoga, met the Bali Spirit chick, had a papaya party, and learned batik painting, before flying out to Kuala Lumpur.

Hello all!!
I am visiting Ubud in a few days and I wanted some reccomendations.
I am very interested in yoga and maybe cooking lessons. Can anyone reocommend or tell me anything about doing yoga in ubud? And cooking classes?
Also does anyone know of a cheap homestay or room for one person?
Thank you all!!! :)

AS far as I know there are at least 2 different Cooking Classes, you can find one by doing a Google search for Casa Luna, these are the classes I have always done, I am sure if you do another search on Cooking Classes Ubud you will see at least another there but am sure that some Hotels do them as well, I can highly recommend the Casa Luna classes. I am being Vague but I know there are plenty of places well quite a few that have Yoga classes, I will actually be in Ubud in about 2 weeks and I know where I stay at Tegal Sari out the front I know there is a sign not far from the hotel about Yoga classes, there is a Restaurant near there called Pundi Pundi and the sign is across the street but you will have no trouble finding classes. As for the homestay I can't comment. It's a lovely area you will have a great time.

Hi HC
The Bali Spirit website lists a number of home stays, guest houses and yoga classes in the Ubud area.
