"Too much jungle" - I love it!
nyc-mikey.... got to be American! His comment "Too much jungle" just cracks me up ..... honey we're not in Kansas any more!
Shame about the GM not making time to meet the Big Bwana from NYC, still shows how busy he is.
Thoug I'm a bit worried that "the Soneva Fushi in Maldives has a guy on standby flinging rubber bands to crows so people can eat peacefully." Sounds like Fushi has an eco-PR disaster waiting to happen - hope Greenpeace don't read these reviews!

Vanakam, just a quick query => how much typically is taxi fare from Ngura Rai Airport to Harris Resort (just up the road from Hard Rock Hotel) ?
Most grateful for any update on prices for this.

If you get the cheap taxis, you should be able to get about 50000IDR... or at least that's what remember in opposite direction with a stop at the post office.

Hi, Agus Kuswana brings you to Kuta region for 50000Rp. Contact him by e-mail gil.agus@hotmail.com or phone 08123942814 . An answer by e-mail will take 2 or 3 days, because he has no internet himself. Tell him "king Theo" recommended him. By the way, he also is a very good and cheap driver for daytrips. He takes no commissions from restaurants and souvenirshops, so you can go wherever you want to go. A full daytrip will cost 350000Rp, included car hire, fuel, parking fees and of course Agus' services.
