Excellent service
Stayed four nights at this hotel. Hotel has seven restaurants, but only managed to try out three; Raja Balinese restaurant, Maguro Japanese restaurant and Chess Beachfront restaurant. The dinner food are excellent in all three restaurant with superb service. But when it comes to lunch, it seems that quality start to dwindle down (only had lunch at Chess restaurant though).
The hotel seems to organise some dinner show every night. First night we were entertained with fashion show at the Beachfront while enjoying the Italian cuisine. Second night live music. Third night there was a cultural show for the patron of Budaya Cultural Theatre with Indonesian cuisine being served.
Had breakfast at the club floor area. The atmosphere is good. Sound of bird chirpping, garden view and the cool morning breeze that just makes one feel truly in a holiday mood.
Had a walk at the recreation facilities, which include gym, tennis court, squash court and wall climbing. The path to the recreation area pass the spa room. The scent from the spa room is so enticing. One thing I regret most from this trip is not being able to try out the spa.
The hotel organise some free scheduled recreational activities, which include cycling, tennis clinic, acquarobics, introducturing sailing, windsurfing and snorkeling amongst many. Afew paid activities are jetski, canoing, etc.
Unique Quality: Excellent dinner food! The hotel has a private beach.

Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa Photo: Club floor area where we had our breakfast
It is a beach front property right beside the ClubMed in Bali. A very nice luxurious property. A little ways from the city of Denpasar, but accessible with taxi or buses.
The place itself is a full service property, has lots of swimming pools and is also a beach front property. This would be a FIRST CLASS 5 STAR PROPERTY.

Turistic area

The are 3 main tourist areas with hotels, shops, restaurants etc: Nusa Dua, Sanur and Kuta. If you like active travel it will be better for you to stay in Sanur or Kuta because Nusa Dua is located far from the centre of island. If you like diving you can stay at Chandi Dasa.

I love Nusa Dua and Ubud but if you wish to stay in the centre of the action (Read single scene) try Kuta. Nusa Dua - Sheraton Laguna Ubud - Chawa Dewata Kuta - try Hard Rock Hotel if you are into PARTY US$40 per peson per night, twin share
Great hotel
by tere1 about Nusa Dua Beach Resort and Spa
The Nusa Dua Beach is a wonderful 5* resort with a private lovely beach, two wonderful pools and beautiful manicured gardens. Rooms are spacious and have all the amenities you need as well as a very nice balinese decoration.
Buffet breakfast is great, plentiful and tasty, served in an open air setting by lotus ponds, with a wide variety from warm items, asian dishes to cereals, cakes, different kind of breads and delicious pancakes. There are many restaurants and the service is very good. The Spa is fabulous. If I ever return to Bali I will surely stay there again. Its beachfront location is excellent, and I found it the nicest beach in Bali I've seen.
Nikko Hotels International
by Sharrie about Nikko
Nikko is a Japanese chain hotel.
I know there's one in San Francisco. But this is Asia page. So, let's talk about Asia.
Since it's a Japanese chain, it makes sense to find majority of them in Japan. Strangely, I've never stayed in one of their hotels. Instead, I've stayed at the Renaissance & Metropolitan groups!
Anyway, Nikko has a reasonably new hotel in Bali set in the most beautiful resort area in Nusa Dua. I suggest you take a look at that one. That's possibly their best hotel.
Best deal in Nusa Dua

After checking a ton of hotels in Nusa Dua and the other beach areas of Bali, we chose the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa because it ended up significantly less expensive than the rest. We spent three days there, and visited a number of the other hotels in the area (e.g., Sheraton, Westin), and they all look great. This one does not have a "Western" name attached to it, but the beach and public areas are beautiful, and although the service wasn't top-rate (especially at breakfast, service was slow and the staff's English wasn't up to what I'd expect), I have no complaints and would recommend.
Great honeymoon memories of Nusa Dua Beach Resort!
by TripAdvisor Member Em&Ham
My husband and I have just returned from our honeymoon in Bali where we spent 8 days at the Nusa Dua Beach Resort. We spent a lot of time deciding which hotel in Nusa Dua to choose and we were not disappointed! The staff could not be more friendly, gentle or helpful. Breakfast was wonderful every day and there was so much choice we never got bored eating there. The pool setting was beautful and food and drinks were pretty reasonable price wise given that this is a five star hotel.
What we liked best was the relaxed atmosphere at the hotel. There was a real mix of people staying at the hotel - honeymooners, groups of young friends, couples young and old and a few families from all parts of the world. This meant that although the hotel felt special, it was not pretentious, no pressure to wear a tie at dinner (although plenty of people did).
I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough - we will go back one day soon for sure!

Sanur or Nusa Dua?
by MVDELROSARIO
We are going to be in Bali and have limited our choices to Sanur or Nusa Dua.
We are looking for a quiet, uncrowded beach/resort yet convenient enough to leave for some partying at night in Kuta.
So, Sanur or Nusa Dua. I've already read a reply stating that Nusa Dua is indeed quieter. Just want to get another opinion.
Regarding hotels in Nusa Dua:
We are looking to checking in either at Aston Bali or Melia Benoa. Which is better and more reasonable? And has a better beachfront?
And how far are these two hotels from Kuta? And how far from Ubud?
Any help will do.
Thank you!
RE: Sanur or Nusa Dua?
by stedeb
Both locations are pretty quiet but Nusa Dua is much more upmarket with lots of resorts & hotels it is also much closer to Kuta. Sanur is quiet also has lotso of hotels but not so flash and it is at least 20 mins by taxi to or from Kuta. I have stayed in Sanur twice and found it a bit of a hassle travelling to and from Kuta. If I had to choose it would be Nusa Dua budget permitting of course.
Q:Which area to stay is more convenient to travel around? "Hi, I and my hubby will be going to Bali in Oct and not sure which area should we stay becos I don't have any single idea about..."
A: "Hello and welcome to VT.
First's things first. Your statement "I don't have any single idea about the geographic location of Kuta, Ubud..."
You can easily google..."
