Bali is a small island (approx. 5,620sq km) a part of Indonesian's archipelago.It is adjacent to Java and west of the chain of smaller island Lombok. Bali is dramatically mountanous as Gunung Agung known as the mother mountain. Bali has a tropical climate and it seems to be hot all year.
The best time to visit Bali in related to the weather is during April until October where the weather is cooler. Other than that it will be humid and cloudy or perhaps raining at the end of the year.
There are plenty of travel package or a very affordable holiday package where you can travel in group,indiviodual or with your family.
Plenty of guidebook and maps around the corner of street,cafes,and tourist informations and book stores.
Bring along lioght weight clothes,short sleeves and shorts in cotton materials and a light sweater if you up to the mountain like Bedugul, Kintamani and Candikuning.
Sunglasses, sunblock and hat are necessary too as the strong sun light may affect your skin.
"Tukang Sayur"
Tukang Sayur Keliling translated in English as Vegetables Vendor- is her profession.
Mbok Made-that’s how she is called, has been a vegetables vendor for more than 5 years. She rides her “Vespa” which has been modified with wooden rack and the plastic trays tugged on the back seat and on the both sides accommodating the supplies. Around Kuta area she is selling things you need for cooking from fresh vegetables, fish, meat, eggs,onions,potato, cooking ingredients to cooking oil, coco milk, herbs, spices, crackers, washing sponge, matches. You can also place an order for a specific thing or amount by calling her on her cell phone one day in advance. She usually starts selling at 7am and end when the supplies are sold out at like 10am. Her costumers are the local housewives who does not have time going to store or just busy with their kids. Mbok Made always serves her customers with smile-as showed in the pictures, and is very generous to let some of her customers “ngutang” or getting the pay her later when they have the money.
This tukang sayur keliling is one of things you may not suppose to find in western countries or in the other part of the world.
