Wisma Pertamina Villa: Serene location in Puncak Pass

There are 5 villas by Pertamina, Indonesia's large oil & gas giant. The price ranges from 240,000 RP to over 400,000. I stayed at the low-end villa.

The private road from the villas goes down to meet the main road from Bogor to Cipanas. The landmark is a small white hotel by the name Bukit Indah on the opposite side of the main road.

Unique Quality: Set in quiet and tranquil private mountain landscape with winding roads, tall trees and dim street lamps, the villa I stayed had 2 clean bedrooms, two beds & attached bath each, living, dining & kitchen, color TV, fire place, veranda, spacious well-kept garden and garage.

The courteous caretaker visited at 7:30am and made toast and tea each morning.

My only complaint: The hot water in the bath did not work well. I had to heat water in kitchen utensils.

Price is per day, irrespective of number of persons.
