Yeah, i'd say it's a cheap accomodation for backpackers / light travellers. Single bedroom costs Rp 89 000 (about 9 US$), and double bedroom costs Rp 99 000 (about 10 US$). it has air conditioner, small tv with all the local channels, table and chair, and private bathroom. just like a regular hotel, only the size is much smaller. It was just opened a while ago, so everything is still clean and new.
Located right downtown at Jalan GajahMada, one of the busiest streets, makes it easier to find food and experience the local living.
There's a travel agency "Ateng Tour" next door (or rather, the lower level of this building), which makes everything so much more convenient. Bookings can be made here, as well as buying ticket (bus, ferry, plane, etc). They provide tours and car rental, with English speaking staff. There's also "wartel", which consists of telephone booths for people to make long distance call. The agency office normally open as early as 7.30 am up to 11.30 pm or 12 midnight.
