Luxury Villas on the Way - Gili Tranwangan

They are almost finished
constructing Kelapa Luxury Villa.

To get there,
they have built a 1 km road
right across the island to the site.

A 1.5 km pipe line which will pump up
fresh water from a tower on the beach
meaning no more salty showers for residents.

Not really sure if this is such a good thing,
since fresh water is scarce on the island,
and why should some foreigners have priority over it.

Also,
what is so wrong with a salty shower for a few days?

Anyway, the property has also installed
a generator so there will be no power cuts.

The 10 villas will be hidden in a coconut plantation
on the north-west corner of the island.

Settings will include landscaped gardens
with private swimming pools.
(Hopefully with salt water and not fresh.)
If not, what a waste not to mention
an inconsideration to the locals who live there.

Each villa will combine traditional
Lombok and Balinese open style designs.

They are currently offering a promotional price of $200 a night.
