Senggigi Beach Hotel

I also stayed in Sheraton Senggigi. Nice hotel with good breakfast but the beach is not as good as Kuta. From Senggigi to new airporat takes about 1.5 hours. We hired the car from hotel to do a few day trips during our stay. Service was good.

I stayed here during my journey in Lombok. That was the great hotel. The concept is more like as villa other than a hotel. We can reach the Senggigi beach only in 5 minutes, because the beach behind the hotel. We can see beautiful sunset point from this hotel. There are some facilities, such as spa, gym, jogging track, mini market, craft shop, swimming pool and private swimming pool, tennis court, etc.

Unique Quality: The unique of this hotel is the view, you can see the mix of some natural views like Senggigi beach, a lot of trees and also the mountainous.

The hotel was built at the cape-like side of the beach. So, almost all the rooms face the beach. Some fence are put at some side, but the other side a free to browse around. The rooms are comfortable though it quite smaller on average 4-star hotel standards. The walls was built in traditional bamboo wall, which add an ethic qualities to the stay. The bathroom is hot and cold water shower.

The food is better that average food in Senggigi. The breakfast buffet provide variety and good quality of indonesian and international food. The swimming pool located closely to the restaurant, and it is not so tempted comparing with the beach. The beach located very close with a public gate, where people could come and enjoy the beach. But, some guards are around to make sure there is no intruder to the comfort of the hotel guest.

Unique Quality: The location is in the very heart of Sengigi. Very close to the hotel are cafe, clubs, bar, and restaurant where people like to gather and hangout.

Since the first time on 2001,we stay here,my Husband Jean-Michel do not want change or move to other hotel....

Ten years ago, this used to be the best hotel in Senggigi, in the last years, they have started to save money wherever they can and the quality has really gone bad.

The Pool Villa Club is still good, everything else is more a losmen than a hotel.

Unique Quality: It still is by far the best location in Senggigi.

I had my hotel in Surabaya book my reservation. They were able to get a "local's" price (savings of ~40%) compared to if I did it myself. I recommend a local to make the reservation if possible.

The resort has stand-alone buildings with ~8 units in each, with grass, trees and vegetation between. The beach is soft sand with an excellent view of Bali (see my Lombok homepage photo).
