Located at the foot of Mount Singgalang, at the intersection between Jalan A. YANI and Jalan LARAS DATUK BANDARO.
Unique Quality: From this hotel, we can see a great view of Bukit Tinggi down town, a green scenery of Mount Singgalang at the back of the Hotel and a view of LIMPAPEH BRidge which link Bukit Tinggi Zoo and Fort De KoCk

the best place for your week end
since Setember 2005 Novotel change their name to be Novotel Bukittinggi only not with coralia anymore.... many change since, i saw alot of diferent since my first vist and stay in this beautiful hotel. and if the weather is fine on saturday night you can ejoy BBQ dinner with Minang traditional cultural dance, its very famous and the dancer is very fantastic, my best one is " Tari Piring or Plate Dance " very amazing dance coz the dancer dance on the break plate.... !!!!!!

mughal style plus morning call = aduh!!!
this is a nice place to stay, actually. mughal style of resto and nice rooms. but imagine, we're landed --night flight-- at tabing airport and directly heading to bukitinggi via pariaman in the christmas eve by the middle of the night.
and never mentioned to have a morning call. but we got it!!! take some sleep early morning about 3 o'clock and have to wake up around 8 o'clock. for us, it means aduh sekali!!!! and 'musik hari natal' [a.k.a muziek hari natal] >> too loud in our ears. sakit!!!
Unique Quality: nice views from the hill to direction mountaineous range of mt singgalang and marapi.

Best Architecture Hotel in Bukittinggi
This hotel is one of my reasons of visit Bukittinggi. Lucky I booked early and got a room, coz when I was there, they had VIP guests from Malaysia, and they booked most of the rooms.
Breakfast beside of the garden & swimming pool, mountain view from the room.
On its side, there is M. Hatta museum , one of the national founder of Indonesia, it's his hometown. But when it was closed when I was there.
Unique Quality: It has a distinct decoration and it has the best location near the 'Jam Gadang' , the main market and business district.
