Although the service is excellent, I was a little disappointed by the room facilities. The room is small and there is no vanity table! This is extremely crucial for ladies! In addition, the walls are not soundproof. I could hear the merry-making parties my neighbours hold and the fridge in my room is constantly producing sound that disrupts my "beauty" sleep.
However, the service is great. Staff are helpful and go beyond their call of service. By second day, they knew me by my name and took the troubles to remember my needs to make my stay a memorable one!
I love the facilities this hotel provide. You should check out the spa. It's a lovely hut located at the fringe of the 9-hole golf course. Prices generally are much lower than what is offered in Singapore. I did a facial at the spa and it's heavenly! I was drifted into a blissful sleep in an open garden concept room with lots of privacy. The therapist ensures that I am fully relaxed and her massage skills are excellent. I was also served the traditional ginger tea - in fact, it was served to me the moment I woke up from the treatment.
Do note that there is no gym in this hotel. However, it was a beautiful salt-water pool or pools (there are different pools of depths, sizes and shapes. You pick the pool you like to swim in! Moreover, you don't feel your skin tight after swimming in the pool. It's really a lovely pool.
And you can also choose to jog around the golf course in the morning or have a game of tennis. My counterparts from other ASEAN countries actually met up in the morning to play tennis. Too bad I didn't bring my racket. Well, it was well compensated by my jogging shoes and swimsuit!
