Hidden Boutique Hotel
Ensuite rooms. Tiny boutique hotel but with spacious and clearn rooms. Clean and comfortable bed. Toilet not fantastic though (very fussy about toilets). Everything was working but water heater was difficult to adjust, either too hot or too cold. There was no place to place toiletries as the sink was standalone and no shower area which made the whole toilet wet after bathing.
However, I was very happy with my stay as the staff there were extremely friendly. I was amazed at how fluent the receptionists' english was as most people spoke very little english in Yogya. They were very helpful in giving restaurant recommendations and other travel tips.
As the hotel is not exactly on the main road, get the staff to call a taxi in. No extra charge for calling cabs. Depending on the time, the cab can take from 5mins to 15mins to arrive.
Unique Quality: This place makes good use of space. Rooms are comfortable. The decor definitely has a Javanese feel to it.
