Help!!! I have an 8 hour layover at the Nagoya Airport next week before connecting to an early evening flight. Any tips on what to do & how to get around?

If your schedule permits, you may want to visit Aichi, about one hour from central Nagoya, to see the Toyota Factory tour. The tour is presented in both Japanese and English, lasts a couple of hours and is free of charge but you need to reserve two weeks in advance by calling this number: 0565-23-3922 (English)
See the Nagoya Tower - a television transmitter, but the pride of the city's population. I didn't get the chance to actually get to it, but I did find myself wandering close by one night, where it was lit up like a Christmas tree (unfortunately, I'd left my camera behind, so I got this picture the next day).
In the CORPORATE PAVILION ZONE B there is the toyota pavilion, a show performed by robot music band and a main show performed by a single passenger futuristic concept vehicle "i-unit" ..
the hitachi pavilion , has the lastest IT technology, the endangered species of animals of the world will be reproduced in images and diorama......
I did not go into these pavilion, reservation is requiered and there where long lines up to 2 hours....
